Selling Import/Export cars was the worse thing added to the game...for Rockstar.

So I used my PV Cargobob sourced a car n delivered and it didnt blew up!

However I flew back to the office landed on roof, sourced a new one and then flew off to realize my hook was gone. I could press all I want on the Dpad but the entire hook was gone and didnt come back.

Seriously R*, when are you gonna fix the damn CB once n for all?

That's because the Hangar 'bob is now a PV.

Land on the street and enter/exit office to ground, it will still be there.

Slight increase in time losing the auto-land feature but you keep your PV spawned.

A bit off topic but is it really worth getting a cargobob for I/E? I'm grinding I/E and GR again after splurging on the DLC and I'm wondering if the Cargobob is worth the investment.

Yes it's completely worth it. Cuts out almost all damage and repair costs as you can avoid all traffic. If you play in solo public you can also avoid the NPCs on sales by flying too high for them to spawn.

Well, but what does that really save you? 5-10k/sale max. You will have to do quite some sales just to gain your money back.

---

Also:

Can someone give me a quick rundown on Gunrunning sales?

You guys buy full supplies for 75k instead of stealing them right? And that still nets you money because 75k worth of supplies net you more money when developed by your bunker team. Does that include Bunker Upgrades (Upgraded reasearch team, equipment etc)?

How hard are the Publc Solo sale missions compared to I/E? Any tricks you >have< to do? Cargobob mandatory? Id like to add to my I/E income.

I buy the supplies once every half an hour or so, and pay 30k, then I'll do Headhunter/sightseer and make 20k of that back. I've got the staff and equipment upgrades, I don't really need security because I never let my stock go over 140k (anymore and you have to use multiple vehicles).

The sales are soloable, the Phantom Wedge one is the easiest, but the Dune and Insurgent ones can be annoying at times.

I haven't done the math, but I've used the Cargobob on almost all I/E source missions and all I/E sales and have made over 60m so far. I have friends who are well over the 100m mark using the same method.

I'd say it has probably paid for itself especially taking into account the time saved by flying, I get a lot of 10 minute plus cooldowns which I fill with Fortified when possible, headhunter/transporter etc when I have less time.

I play in solo sessions a lot recently so using the Cargobob for sales to avoid the NPCs is invaluable.

Blasterman4EVER

After expenses, cool downs, and other issues, this just isn't true.

Coke, meth, and bunker money is even easier, WAY EASIER money, but you actually NEED TO HAVE FRIENDS in order to do them.

So, maybe it's just that the loneliest robots in San Andreas think that import/export is the best thing ever.

I like it, and I do them, and they're profitable, but they're not the easiest money in the game.

Buying supplies for coke, meth, and the bunker after they're all fully upgraded and watching cash stack is the easiest money in the game. Once you get over the investment hump, you've practically got a cash machine.

I'm at over $20 million earned in each of my MC businesses. That's more than my import/export total, I think.

Yeah.... but import/export is very good.

It's just not something that I think that Rockstar thinks for even a moment was a bad idea for them.

Remember that on one $100,000 car sale, you still spent between ... what - $20,000-$50,000 to make the sale, depending? So you really only make $50,000 to $80,000 per car.

Great money, but the easiest money? Eh.

Not the easiest money no, I'd agree that the passive money from bunker, coke and meth are easier.

If you regularly play with friends (I can't, work, wife, family etc.) there are better ways to make money.

But as a solo player I/E is the most consistent money maker. Using a Cargobob, adding solo 210k bunker sales and VIP work on cool downs makes 300k/hour attainable solo without too much effort. Which easily funds whatever I want from the game.

My associates no longer get wage bonus for selling cars with me? Did they patch something?

I've received 35k lately, when helping to export a collection.

Fact: -I made 30Mio from cocaine with a very very large group of "friends"(whatever it means in english)

-I made 61Mio from IE, 90% solo. In less time, fact again, IE is more convivial and enjoyable than driving your Post vans.

-I made 35Mio from Bunker, 99% solo.

And it was very easier than driving Post vans for a dude on internet who added me on a digital list of pseudo friends.

Just made 540k in 30min of effective gaming. 440K with the Insurgent Pick Up, 100K with an IE car. Solo.

Does that trick work on public lobbies

The NPCs don't spawn during sales in public lobbies when other players are present.

The steal mission NPCs still spawn but with the exception of Buzzards you will be too high and fast and they will disappear. With enough altitude NPC Buzzards will waste so much time getting to your altitude that they can't keep up.

Even by adding overpowered NPCs with perfect accuracy players can still make a lot of money from I/E

I guess that's why Rockstar decided to stop adding business that actually make profit lol

The Hangar is actual trash. I wish I could sell it off because the amount of effort needed for very little payout and this is coming from a guy that has almost 2000 hours of game time on GTAO and a lot of free time at the moment.

Even I find it hard to keep my attention on this new update because it all just gives a bad taste.

Shadowfennekin

I/E plus Coke and Meth is the best combination.

I just can't be bothered to deal with keeping my supplies going.... since nobody ever joins my MC so I'm stuck doing several supply runs as I'm NEVER buying supplies, that's your profits. The 'just export a car' thing is BS

I/E > Bunker > Crates > MC biz > Hangar cargo

I/E>MC>Hangar>Crates>Bunker

How repetitive the missions get

I/E beats them all. Once car sourced hard part over. I use Bob all I can.

I sold out my mid and top range cars when commissions doubled. Now w new release it seems much more difficult get optimal lobbies. Now wish sold them all.

The doubled bunker then doubled I / E good run for me.

Passed 80 million in sales few days ago :)

Cocaine is bugged for me on PC, just tried again yesterday: 210k/2 Dinghy= transaction error.

So closed it again...

Don't buy supplies before selling to avoid this error. Same goes for the bunker.

My Cargobob paid for itself with I/E very quickly. 5 minutes or less for a source, same for a sale.

Learn to fly it and collect a moving vehicle (some luck involved there) and you'll be grinding like never before with little to no damage...

Its another transaction error type. I'm formal, no need to argue about that. Supplies have been stolen, not bought.

Losing the hook is common. Also, it sometimes doesn't work at all. They claimed to have fixed the car dropping off the hook in the GR update - they didn't. They claimed it again in SR - I haven't tried yet but be aware your car may fall and cause it a lot of damage.

What is the point of this topic really ? How can an update to a game you play make it bad for the company ?

PS: Little secret I/E is not the most profitable way to make money.

When there is a mission like that where its chased by cops I just snipe him dead from long range before he can drive off :)

Highway: Snipe from the highway junction to the south

Sandy Shores: Snipe from a section of land to the south(looks like a triangle but the left side is made from a river/dirttrack orso instead of road)

City one towards FZ: Snipe from the hill on the North where the road bends towards that mall or whatever on top of it. Its the hardest one cause the shot is blocked by trees or bushes allot. So walk up where the road bends and somewhere around there you'll get a clear shot.

Dont trigger any by comming to close!

Because its a stable, easy and soloable way to make cash that requires no other people. If you are on the ball you can make four hundred grand an hour for little work by yourself.

We know, no-one ever said it was.

Yeah, I read the methods about sniping a while back but I tend to end up with a lot of damage just because I shot the window out. Plus I find it fun to pick up with the bob (usually, if I miss, I give up on it - quicker to find new session or blow it up than it is to chase it down and attempt to stop it).
