Can i sell airplanes and helicopters ?

Hello to everyone, a question :

 

Now i am in a quest to raise money so i can buy the customization shop for my hangar, i have 3 planes (Dodo, Ultralight and Cuban 800) the problem however is, i want to make my Hangar exclusive for World War 2 era planes only (Rogue, P-45, Mogul, etc) so i dont want those planes i already have anymore, i heard that you can sell you planes with the customization shop, is there any confirmation of this ?

You can only sell aircraft that came with this update AND if you have a Workshop in your hanger.

 

You don't have to put any of your current Pegasus planes in your hangar and you can put them put put them in "storage" in your hanger so they aren't on display.

 

You can't permanently remove aircraft (or anything else) from your Pegasus/Hanger list, even for $0 back, except for any of the new aircraft.

You can only sell aircraft that are part of the Smuggler's Run update, any other Pegasus vehicles prior can't actually be sold.

 

However, there is storage at the rear of the hangar, so you can just walk into the blue vehicle management circle thing on the floor and choose what aircraft are situated either on the hangar floor or in storage (where they won't be seen but can still be called from the Interaction Menu > Vehicles).

I've noticed that using the REMOVE option to get rid of a Pegasus vehicle seems to be treated like selling a street car to LSC. It literally shares the same cooldown timer, because I couldn't remove an aircraft after selling a street car a few minutes earlier; conversely, I couldn't sell a street car after removing

 

After observing this I made a visit to se7ensins to investigate, and the duping community apparently found out that removing an aircraft also counts as selling a personal vehicle... even when you are getting $0 from removing a Pegasus one and not from selling a Smuggler's Run aircraft. So, it counts against your daily personal vehicle sell limit too.

 

While arguably not an issue for most people, it's incredibly lazy on the part of R* to handle it this way.

Correct. I still have to amass enough aircraft to see if you can overwrite old ones when storing or buying new ones the same way as a car garage, but I'm assuming it does work the same way if the sell option was copied.

Pegasus → Hangar ✔

Hanger → Storage ✔

Storage → Hangar ✔

Hanger → Sell Aircraft released with this update only (and only if you have the Workshop in your Hangar)

Hanger → Pegasus Aircraft released before this update only

Rogue isn't a WW2 plane you dipsh*t, it's a modern turboprop aircraft.

Rogue WW11 pmsl it a Brazilian Tucano. Used currently as prop trainer by the RAF and many other Air forces

You can sell pegasus vehicles! You need the mod shop, but you can get rid of them! I've done it to quite a few cargobob Jetsams that decided not to be a jetsam anymore, grrrrr.....

You can also sell new SR aircraft but still own them after selling .
