My only problem with the dlc is the payout, I'd rather keep doing hangar missions instead of doing old jobs because this is something new, but I just can't bring myself to keep playing for a 10k payout. After i sell full stock of narcotics I'll start doing old jobs again and return when there is a double payout on hangar missions. I don't think Rockstar understands that most of us won't have any help when doing work like this, I have friends who play this game but nobody is going to help me fill up my hangar if they don't get paid for it and I can't blame them, I wouldn't do it either.

Missions are sh*te. I only did them to get the discounts on the planes. I'll sell the stock just to get some of the money back then just not bother with those. Who wants to continually shoot at 347 buzzards a time following the titan?

The missions are fun to play if you are doing it just for fun not for money.

What's so fun about spending ten plus minutes flying around Los Santos in slow aircraft trying to find where your cargo is? Like maybe 20% of the stealing missions in this update are actually "fun", the rest are painstakingly dragged out and boring.

The least they could have done to offset the monotony is to make the business somewhat profitable but nope, not only are the majority of missions dull and uninspired, but there's no incentive behind doing them either unless you have literally nothing else to do and just want to play them for the sake of playing them.

Take your own aircraft. The "sponsored" aircraft by Ron are anywhere between mediocre and terrible for the job at hand.

More specifically, bust out your Hydra for everything else than the stunt one, and your Buzzard for that one.

They get boring pretty quick using the original tools for missions im at 55 i think and had enough to be honest

Partially with you. SR missions are actually so fun and challenging. Airstrike, dogfight, carpet bombing, plane stunt, dodging missiles, custom planes... It had to be the most incredible DLC ever made in this year.

...and the revenue screwed it up forever. case closed.

The ability to store existing Pegasus planes and choppers in your hanger, even the Titan and Miljet, or a collection of Shamal, Luxor, Nimbus, or whatever you fancy. And then the new, rather stupendous new vehicles - some amazing concoctions, designs, implementations. For me, an absolute dream.

You can store your existing Pegasus planes and choppers? Not other Pegasus vehicles though I'm guessing?

Only aircraft now. I fully suspect the next update (or at least one soon) will have some sort of option to store land and/or sea vehicles. The last few updates have seemed a little "Screw it"-ish on Rockstar's part, abandoning long-held rules (i.e. no weaponized-PVs), and now with Pegasus customization started and the Hunter, it kind of feels like they're bringing things to a close, giving us the stuff we've long-wanted.

I've come to the realization that these missions are sh*t when played solo because they're SUPPOSED to be.

R* really doesn't want you to play them solo. By allowing people to make $100K solo with IE cars and over $225K solo with GR, they screwed up.

So, solo SR players can only grab one crate at a time meaning their return on the time invested is terrible. However, this is where R* was clever. When a CEO and a crew do the exact same collection mission, they can grab 1 crate per member,. 3 players? 3 crates. 5 players? 5 crates. (Zero Stones, ZERO CRATES!! - Zorg).

This allows the CEO to fill up the hangar faster and provides more spirited game play and a greater return on the time invested.

Now, I'm sure R* would tell us they're doing this to "promote friendly co-operative game play", however we all know this is to force players in to more populated lobbies in order to locate the associates needed and of course increasing the chances of running into douches who get off on ruining the fun for other players in the lobby.

Alrighty then.... How much can associates earn after a marathon of dogfights? How "clever" R* is.

If you consider that everyone helping an organization expects the favor to be returned for his organization it is still just one crate per run per player. If R* really cares about cooperation they would have to give an organization of 2 players 3 crates per run, 3 players 4 crates and so forth. Now that would benefit those helping each other.

I'm partially with you on this one J.

I love love looooove the hangars & the fact I can finally customize my aircrafts. First thing I did was get rid of the red accents on my Nimbus. The Nimbus sets proudly front & center in my hangar & the now rare Swift match it color & parked next to it.

I like most of the most of the new airplanes. I already bought the Rogue. The Alpha, Howard, Seebreeze, Tula, Pyro & Nokota are next on my list. I'm tempted to get the Ultralight & Bombushka as well.

I love that I can spawn personal aircraft from the interaction menu, I no longer have to deal with the self destructive 'Bob & it spawns within walking distance of my vehicle warehouse! No more Merryweather base bullsh*t.

Here's where I disagree, the missions. Personally I think they are a lot of fun, especially the Nokota, Molotok & Tula missions ... The Titan escort mission sucks though.

I never thought I'd finally get to do some dogfighting in GTAO, but man they deliveried.

I agree, the pay kinda sucks if you are a lone wolf & selling in small packages. But this time I'm not in it for the money, I grinded my ass off during the IE bonuses & I needed to take a break from that .... These missions deliveried. And frankly, I don't care whither the business makes profit or not, this is the one dlc I'm not in it for the money.

I agree with OP. I like the hangars, aircraft, customization. I like that I can now explore and fly over Zancudo. I like some of the new clothing. I even like some of the supply missions.

The payout however is garbage, especially considering the time you need to put into the supply missions.

I don't think every new business has to be the new top money maker, but why add a 2.0 of the original crates and make that new version take twice as long and pay less than half as much.

I've done 42 supply missions to get the trade prices and that will remain my total until we get a x2 event. Even then it will pay less than I/E, but for a bit of variety I'd play a double pay event for a week.

If you're a new player with 3 rich friends who want to help and don't mind earning next to nothing, SR can actually be a wise investment. 13 source missions with VIP misions between and a sales should be able to be done in under 3.5 hours, if not quicker. That $1.09m profit ($850k + ($20k × 12)) works out to around $311k an hour. It's not a terrible way to help a friend and to have some fun while doing it. Too bad the helpers only get the VIP mission pay and CEO bonus pay, which probably maxes out at $360k total for the whole 3.5 hours. (Edit: Originally said $480k an hour, must've devided total by only 2.5 hours or something.)

By the way, crates max out at 4. At least they put 2 in each vehicle. Makes things slightly quicker for groups, if you're willing to take the vehicle back.

Edit to add:

I take back the "good investment" part. IIRC, doing back to back Headhunter and Sightseer earns around $175k an hour. You can give money earned from Sightseer. Which means half of that $175k each friend makes can be given to the new player, so three friends are giving around $260k an hour. After 3 hours, the new player would make around $1.3m + the $5k-$10k CEO pay.

There is a maximum a player can receive in a day, but I don't know how much. It seemed to be around $500k. If that's the case, then the above example would give the new player right about the same $1.09m as in the SR example above. Heck, the three other friends still make right around the $360k in the SR example. The only difference is that VIP missions would be 30 minutes quicker.
