So many supercars, so little jets ?

Each major update, we receive one or several new supercars. Pricerange going from several 100k's to a million or two.

This however doesnt neccecarely means that the latest supercar outperforms the previous ones. It happened when the Re7B or Vagner released, but it didnt happen for extensive periods aswel.

 

Looking at how Smugglers Run now "opened the airways", we take a look at somewhat high end jets and we see...

Hydra and Lazer since forever.

 

Molotok, Starling and Rogue recently added.

 

If we take sportscars in accound, we could arguably class Lazer as the only 'superplane', Hydra somewhere at the far top of the classics, Molotok and Starling as classics and the Rogue as something in between.

 

There are so many great fighter jets. But we got so little in GTA. Would this expansion open up the possibility, to receive future jets/bombers ?

 

 

I for one would appreciate to have a variety of fighter jets in my Hangar. Hence i'd get several ones.

I just wish they would raise the top speed cap for cars and planes I feel dumb doing 140 in my 2 million super car or Mig

It's the way it's always been.

 

GTA isn't War thunder or whatever, and I'm glad... The range of cars has always been one of the things that makes GTA a better experience and quite frankly GTA would be a better experience WITHOUT fighter jets and tanks.

 

There really isn't a need for them... And I actually think GTA would be more enjoyable if we never had them from the beginning and instead had helicopters like the Skylift at launch.

 

Why they never introduced those more fun vehicles in the beginning is beyond me tbh.

 

& Before you start with the "oh you must not be a pilot in game, or suck etc" I dominated flight school on & offline for at least 6 months before the modders finally got to it, and was merking people in the Jet from day 1 before that was even a thing, Hell I even posted a video on the forum years ago as proof that the jet was a problem.

 

And I was a monstrously good heli pilot from IV so the switch was seemless, actually helis are still my strength as there's only like 10 people on GTA 5 that can even dogfight in them properly at a high level left.

 

But yeah... I wish we had more utility vehicles online, and far less "Lets just kill sh*t and blow sh*t up" vehicles.

Not only jets (wouldn't care less about them honestly) but cars other than supers (and sport classics now, wtf) are getting almost no attention since after I/E due to bombardment of supers and sports classics.
