kick. But why?

Start a VIP job(I recommend Hostile Takeover because it has a 30 minutes timer and other players can only see the objective when you collect the briefcase), once you're in a VIP job you can't be kicked unless a network error happens.

Use that time to ruin the day of anyone who is trying to kick you.

Removing the kick feature is something that no online game should do, because sometimes you need to report cheaters, hackers and those assholes calling you funny names on the mic.

The way I see it, those are the only valid reasons to kick someone from a session.

If a player is repeatedly spawn killing you, you can go ghost to him.

If a group of players is harassing you, you can go passive(and I'm not afraid to use this, I can't fight back against a group).

If you want to do CEO/MC/VIP jobs or move crates/IE/products/stock/air freight, you have to understand that the game mode is meant to be competitive and other players are allowed to stop your progress.

It's not an ideal system, given the many balancing issues this game has, but oh well, the other option is going for a solo session.

What is your rank? Due to my high rank, a lot of people think I'm a modder and kick me or harass me for money.

Yeah i wondered that. I'm rank 414. When i was rank 254 or something i had people asking if i was a modder for being such a high rank and said they were going to report me and have me banned. But i've never been kicked as much as i have now. The only times i used to get kicked was when a new update was released and i'd enter a room with single CEO group locking down the room to make money. But now i just get kicked all over the shop.

yes.got kicked two times.because people didn't like me being in passive mod.i flew over some moron.all i hear is "pasivo pasivo" then 1 st vote.i vote back.2nd vote i am out.so i started using the mtu trick.no morons

What were you doing before going into passive though? Because if you were taking easy kills and then hiding in passive just so they couldn't kill you back then you deserve to be kicked in my book. The people that do that are one of the worst types of players. They like to kill but absolutely hate being killed back so kill then hide in passive. Passive abusers are just as bad as the people who abuse the kick feature.

But if you were just midning your own business in passive then fair enough.

It seems like they reduced the amount of votes needed to actually kick recently so maybe that's why?

reporting hackers and modders i don't think R* cares about that, and i agree with you about the thing including businesses but what i fail to understand why would a person who has a hydra or an oppressor try to kill someone for 2k and rp?

if there's 2 players in a lobby, nothing will happen. >50% if more than half of the lobby vote for kicking then you're gone

Arrows to Athens

I keep getting kicked out of missions, probably because of my high rank. Nothing new.

Starting vip work to prevent being kicked just proves they were right to try and kick you in the first place since you seem to want pvp when they don't. It's the circle of gta life; kill whenever you feel like it and cry when someone does it back to you.

I don't think that's the case. Maybe he was just minding his own business and being kicked like me. If people kick you for no reason then f*ck em, let em have it. Why should they kick you for no reason like that? You have just as much right to the game as they do. Group kicking deserves a good kick in the balls and at least a suspension by Rockstar for abusing the feature.

The other circle of GTA life is that you reap what you sow. If you arbitrarily vote to kick somebody without trial, don't be surprised if they then unleash the very thing you hoped to avoid by way of retribution.

I never play aggressively unless someone 1: Fires on me first, 2: Kick votes me for no reason. After either of those two things happen I will spend all my time and all my money blowing that guy up to the best of my ability :). Especailly number 2, because that is by faaaaaaaaar more annoying than being killed, which does nothing really.

This.

They could just leave me to do my regular things in GTA with don't generally involve messing with them. Because lets face it, who is really that interested in what other people are doing in GTA unless you're doing group work?

Instead, if they decide to kick me, they're causing me an inconvenience. And if I'm going to have to spend a minute or two getting into a new session, I may as well spend a few extra minutes exacting even more inconvenience to them.

You mess with my gaming experience, I'll mess with yours.

^^ My point is that by attacking players that try to kick you all it does is reinforce in their minds that it's a good idea to kick. Feel free to play as you wish.

When I see these kicking threads I just think it's a big deal about nothing.. don't take it personally..there are an unlimited # of sessions and you will be in a new one shortly.

Cant really defend it if the person is constantly being kicked and spending most of their time on a loading screen. People need to stop being selfish and use the invite only or crew only sessions if they want to make money without interruptions.

The constant whining about trying to find a solo session needs to stop. Public lobbies are PUBLIC for a reason.

And ever the circle decreases, because people who get arbitrarily voted before they have even done anything to players in the session will often lash out in retaliation, when otherwise they would have left those players be. So subsequently the vote-to-kickers create the situation they hoped to avoid, and end up getting their stock destroyed probably threefold during the countdown.

People shouldn't take losing their stock so personally, stock is unlimited and more will be available shortly.

Point is, both camps could be said to be getting inconvenienced and having their time wasted. Who you think has the moral high ground will depend on which side of the fence you come down on.

As someone who frequently hosts private public sessions, I expect peace from everyone who joins me, be it friends or friends of friends. If someone chooses to attack others in my lobby without provocation, we'll mass-kick them out. That's how I play. Usually it'll be myself and the same 4 friends. Rarely we'll get a random player, and we leave him/her alone unless they try to attack us while we're off minding our own business. Then they get the boot.

Yeah, I got kicked by a ceo friendly crew once. And guess what, I wasn't all salty about it. Instead I joined that same crew and now I do the kicking.

But whenever I kick people, I text them why I do it. Just like a current crewmate texted me before I was kicked. The long time grinders and reasonable players will understand.

Is it abuse of the system? Sure. But you know what? f*ck the system! I refuse to be raped out of hours of grinding by randumb kids.

Yellow Dog with Cone

I didn't kicked fast enough a sh*tface with a modded account yesterday, he went straight to my Trashmaster sale, blew it up and left afterwards.

And you wonder why people are so kick-happy.

This will still happen until R* balances the game (improbable) or let us sell in private lobbies (never).

And for those who are giving the tip to launch VIP work to avoid being kicked, that doesn't teach players a lesson or whatever, far from it, it reinforces the very same behaviour that you're against.

The other day I ended with a CEO and his associate in a public lobby while I was glitching my supplies, they started to kick me and you know what I did? I found a new session instead, why bother them if they don't want me in the first place because of it?

At least I always try to ask them to leave politely first.

I don't see why they did not put in a lvl cap, mbe 150 or so cause I'm sick of getting booted for being a high rank or ask if I mod, I'm flipping only 300 something....

It's not even that high but if I get into a lobby with low lvls I get booted, I just want to get some crates:(

I hate pvping....

This is annoying I'm minding my own business in a session and I get kicked they should disable kicking of players if they haven't killed any other player in that session I'm just trying to hang out and I get kicked in afraid that I'm about to be put in a bad sport lobby just because people are assholes

You're not getting put in bad sport over that. Please accept that the guys who kicked you are just looking for peace and privacy. It's nothing personal.
