Because if you f*cking join a lobby with one person, that means hes probably grinding and if youre at least a little respectful you should just leave or lag out or something so you dont interrupt his money making by making the lobby more active - more players in a lobby, bigger chance the lobby getting filled faster.

I dont know hoe you got kicked by only one player though. But you deserved it.

You know when I see posts like this, I actually applaud people who blow up people's stuff, at least to people like this dickhead. f*ck the guy who was in the session first, if he wanted to be alone so badly, why doesn't he lag out? Why should anyone be punished for your (read: anyone who does this) actions?

And no, don't blame Rockstar. Yes, the system is f*cked. But voteabuse is only adding to the problem, and f*cking over other people. It doesn't solve anything. You can achieve the same results without voting by lagging yourself out or adjusting your firewall settings. Refusing to do so makes people like YOU the bigger c*nts. Respect is a two way street buddy boy, remember that.

HAHA!

I thought it took 3 people to kick you?

I get kicked quite a bit. Especially day 1 of the Smugglers Run update. I bought everything in the first few minutes of the DLC going live and kept getting kicked as soon as i tried to use any of it. Glad i didn't pay actual real word money for them.

Then i get kicked because i'm a high rank, 409. It seems a lot of people have no clue how someone reaches that rank and thinks your some kind of cheater. Even had people wonder how i got to rank 290 odd.

Then you get people trying to lock down rooms to make money and their paranoid they will be attacked.

Then my favourite one of all. A team of friends will try and kill you but if they fail and you school them they will get real angry and abuse you with a bunch of texts before kicking you. It seems they love to kill but hate to be killed back.

Its R* fault for not giving the option to play invite only.. Its R* fault for not creating a better PVP environment to play in.

90% of the player base are twats.. Running around using the most OP weapons/tactics they can.

Me and some friends have been kicking people left and right.. Just to play the content.. Its not personal.. Just want to try out the new content without having to bust out into PVP mode for 20-30 mins.. And deal with idiots that go passive and hide in passive till they can come out of passive again later to attack players.. Its f*ckin bullsh*t.. And R* is to blame.. And players are just re-acting to it by kicking before that sh*t can even start to play out.

As far as players go.. I've been seeing the new Air Pirates in action.. Camping the Air port or Army Base Hangers waiting to gank players right when they return from a run..

You skipped out the part where I said you can achieve the same results by lagging yourself or tweaking with your firewall settings. Votekicking is f*cking over other people and is a sh*t alternative in that regard.

...Not everyone wants to f*ck with their firewalls and lag themselves out.

Even if they do.. That doesn't help when a few friends want to play together. What?.. gonna lag out your friends too and invite them back everytime someone joins?

Vote kick is faster and easier.. And theres no such thing as abusing vote kick.. Theres no right or wrong way to vote kick someone.

You can vote kick someone if you don't like the color of their Panto, if you felt like it..

That's a poor excuse and you know it. It takes a few mins and you're golden, and no one gets f*cked over.

As for your mates joining, use a whitelist. Again, seconds to implement and piss easy to do.

There's no lagging out when you're blocking ports, zero people can get in. Just whitelist your friends' IP, and get them to block the same ports, boom, empty session with your friends.

Its not an excuse.. Its a reason. And im just telling it how it is.

Besides not everyones knows how to f*ck with their internet connection.> Nor do they care about learning how to do it. When vote kicking seems to do the trick.

Way i see it.. If you can't handle vote kicking stay in solo sessions or just suck it up and realize its not personal. Vote kicking in this situation is at least painless and quick. What.. you gotta wait a min to join a new game.. WhoOoop Deee DoOooo..

Well, I kicked some asshole out as well earlier on...

I was returning with a shipment to my Hanger at FZ. I was in a session with one of my friends, both of us doing our Hanger shipments.

He and I have same Hangar (the middle most expensive at FZ). So suddenly when returning with my Hydra, I noticed another CEO-dot near the same area... Just prior to landing he bombed me??? After respawning, I sprayed some Special Carbine rounds in him to no avail... He shot me down again.. I sprayed him with a minigun. He came out alive again... As a level 98 he returned the favor and minigunned me down..He took my shipment and started running away... I closed my firewall... Opened it up again. Both my friend and the asshat 'left'... I collected my shipment... Rejoined my friend's game and then I asked if he was a friend of his.. 'Nop'..

So I proceeded to kick his hacking ass out... I got the whole 'Learn how to play instead of kicking me' BS...

I replied: 'I don't need to prove jacksh*t to you'... My friend kicked him too and we were on our merry way again... As a level 552 assuming I don't know when I'm up against a hacker, is laughable to say the least...

Besides, when you join an almost empty session and THAT is you first action, you have zero respect for other people and deserve a good kick without second thought... So these days, people don't take anymore chances and just kick automatically. Nothing personal, just a result of how Rockstar wants people to play and those that follow that 'advice'... I hope they got served with a nice 'illegitimate acquired' Rockstar robbing as well...

So to cut a long story short... Next time, I'll proceed even faster with kicking in 'my' friendly sessions... No time to waste (on other people's 'tactics/antics')...

Sounds like you glitched out because you were out played. Which I could almost see as justified if you hadn't have engaged with him afterwards but the fact you did, to me at least, makes it look like you couldn't hack it so took the easy route. Which is half the problem with GTA, there are so many dirty or underhanded easy routes to take it pretty much ruins what should be a good game (yes, balancing, blame Rockstar etc).

Putting my opinions aside for a second, is it really an achievement to "succeed" in GTA if you have nothing, or very little, to oppose you? Does it make you feel satisfied with the experience?

The fact you re-lagged out and then rejoined and kicked him says a lot to be honest. You could have had your friend join you but you chose to be just as much of a dick and kick the other guy out for playing better than you.

Agreed. If players are afraid and/or are incapable of dealing with other players, R* included Solo and Invite-Only lobbies just for them.

This thread probably won't end well.

I was trying to figure out why I was always being kicked then I realized I had a custom license plate "KICKME" and I was like, DUHH! Of course!

Now I have the plate that says "COMENDME" and my reputation has gone through the roof!!

I don't think I need any 'gitgud' advice from anyone who clearly doesn't know a level 98 can't possess a minigun in freeroam yet... I'm pretty sure he wasn't playing a survival at FZ. Nor was he sporting a juggernaut... And now I'm sarcastic to make it perfectly clear...

So excuse me for not further engaging a modmenu user/hacker...

Learn to read a reply, before judging my 'lame' tactics... At the very least I'm already better at reading messages than you... So plz refrain from the 'better than you' attitude. I play alone or with just friends.. Et alors?

If R* did bother to balance the game, making teamplay worthwhile or at least letting us do full CEO/MC work in Invite lobbies, things like kicking players wouldn't be necessary.

But that's just beating a dead horse at this point.

BTW, I'm part of a friendly crew, but I always try to ask randoms to leave politely.

Surprisingly, it works.

I would take a kick anytime over the pain in the ass ddos attack I received today . My cable company confirmed it and I was wondering why people were leaving a chill lobby of 6 then my session and Internet were terminated . Lil picks will resort to anything to get their empty lobby now .

When it's just myself and friends in the lobby, we commend and then kick everybody who joins regardless of their rank or nature.

It's a sorry state, but them being in means more randos can join, and there's always the one who'll see an IE sale going on and blow it up for no reason, making absolutely no money and gaining nothing from it, but costing us time, effort, and patience overall.

It's a precaution that many are taking, trying to work through the grind without the average dipstick with a Hydra showing up to press X to win.

I'm usually okay with having a few people in the session i'm in as long as they play nice. As soon as i notice hostility i either lag out, or vote kick the griefing twat if i'm on with my friends.

There are many ways to acquire a minigun in freeroam before reaching rank 120. The Ballistic suit is one method of legitimately acquiring it without reaching Rank 120 and you had not mentioned he was not wearing this prior to your last comment (in which you only mentioned the juggernaut which is different).

You may be jumping to conclusions about the player being a hacker/mod menu user.

The ballistic suit would explain both the minigun and the fact your minigun failed to kill him and allowed him to kill you. Not to mention BST could have been used since he was a CEO so it's easily dropped directly infront of the player, giving them the ability to take more damage and inflict more damage.

How about you learn to accurately describe the situation and consider the legitimate methods to acquire a minigun at any rank before you drop an attitude because someone has called you out on a dirty move to counter a player who out played you. So please refrain from the attitude and thinking you're entitled to play in public sessions with players of your choice.

Either way, you chose to share your cute little story, you are basically asking for anyone and everyone to comment on it. You used a dirty trick to counter a player who used a dirty trick, you're no better than he is (from a moral standpoint, skillwise I couldn't care less and wouldn't know - however your story suggests you were outplayed). However, you totally ignored the fact that you lagged out, then re-joined so you could kick him when you could have simply had your friend join you and ignore the other guy - you chose to be a dick and kick him based on an assumption while not considering the fact there are legitimate methods of having a minigun in freeroam prior to being a rank 120.

From what I could make out of that mess of, I presume, some kind of reply... Intercepting a delivery is out playing a player. Check your destination for hostiles before you get there either by using the map or sending a friend in first.

The rest, I genuinely have no clue what the f*ck you're trying to say other than where you twisted what I said to make out as though I'm saying you must seek out the opposition when clearly the game invites it for you with the f*ck off huge message to everyone saying "this guy is moving something, probably unarmed or in a sh*te vehicle, go get him".

I'm fine with a majority rule approach...if you have enough votes go ahead and kick...it just takes a min to get a new session for the kickee.

Personally I vote to kick for only a single reason; having a loud mic/playing music/DJ. It bugs me to figure out who it is and mute them and the kick button is right next to mute. The point of the kick vote is just to highlight the annoying player so others can mute them more easily.

Why? People would rather do work in peace I suppose.

If I join a lobby with only a few people that are all in the same crew or organization I'll just lag out my lobby.

I mean seriously, why would you stay in a lobby like that and just decide to start a job? Lol

I was in a solo lobby with a random yesterday. I was at the end of a gunrunning delivery. (The first of three payments to finally buy a hanger.) To be honest, I was too busy killing Merryweather to notice him. Literally, when I finished, he voted to kick me. I don't blow up people's cargo or kill them unless they mess with me first.

I use the "Kick Player" as part of my strategy, much like sending a Mugger or Mercs.

Often, I'll do it just for giggles, to someone I haven't even come across.

Heck, I'd even throw one on myself, if I could.

That's actually very true. Most don't even think about that. Anyone over rank 300 is probably going to be safe to share a session with. It's the ones that haven't achieved a very high level that run around in freeroam causing trouble. They do enough to be able to buy a jet and that's it.

What I always do when I enter a session with just 1 or 2 other people is either send a messaging letting them know I'm friendly or ask them if they need help and offer to join their MC or CEO. I've only even been kicked 3 times and I put it down to communicating with them.

I get the same thing. I enter a lobby and am the highest ranked player, only level 269, and people want to kick me. I join sessions and keep to myself and still get the notification that I have been voted to be kicked. R* needs to revamp their system. If I am killing people and blowing up their stuff then you can vote to kick me, but if I have not interacted with another single person than how should I kicked? It specifically talks about your behavior in the session as the reason, but if I have no behavior issues why am I being kicked? Yesterday I ended up in a session by myself for over an hour. Eventually it started to populate to 8 and all of a sudden I get the message that people are voting to kick me. I was actually pissed this time because I was in the session first, but what can you do? I am almost to the point that if people want to kick me then I am going to troll them to make it worth being kicked, and that is not my style. I will admit that if someone comes and starts trolling me while I am minding my own business then I vote to kick them. Usually it sends them a message that I don't want to waste my time with them, sometimes they still persist.

Tried that once too, got a votekick as awnser. I quickly startet a vip-job and "removed" them from the session. If you you know what i mean. ;)

Agreed. If players are afraid and/or are incapable of dealing with other players, R* included Solo and Invite-Only lobbies just for them.

This thread probably won't end well.

...Or it might.

We can't do full CEO/MC/Bunker/Hangar work in Solo and Invite lobbies though.

And yes, I get that the point of those updates was competition between players ( AKA PvP), but sadly, when you take in count how unbalanced the game is, how pitiful the payment for associates/prospects is and how absurdly easy is to undo hours of work in seconds, the whole concept of PvP is beyond broken in a game that insist in forcing it into their players.

Even when recent updates give you the option to steal from other players instead of mindlessly destroying, without a real incentive or punishment to do it, people keep destroying them instead, see I/E.

The rampant kicking is a product of this, many players don't want to risk their efforts to your typical troll in a pink Hydra. No one will help you from free and not everyone has the means to defend you in the first place. Kicking is a "shoot first, ask questions later" of keeping a lobby safe, which is sh*tty, but it works.

I'm not trying to justify it, I'm in such kind of crew, but that's how it is, the game is so stacked against the player, that players themselves are trying to play by themselves at all costs.

And now that poor horse was reduced to a mushy reddish pulp...
