A question on the viability of the smugglers run business and the discounts

Assuming I only want the hunter and 47 steals are needed to get the discounted price wouldn't it just be easier to ignore the discount because the time taken can be used for import export/ business sales for approximately 300k an hour. Is it worth doing the smugglers run steals if no one is willing to help me?

Worth it solo? For one vehicle? Maybe. The hunter trade price saves almost a million. Selling 50 of the good crates gets you $850k (or around $1.2m if you get the PS4/Xbox glitch price). Would probably take 12 hours solo, if you're good at grinding. And you'll need a couple of helpers for the sale. Trade savings + cargo sale = $1.8m to $2.2m.

 

Solo, I/E can earn around $200k-$240k an hour. Which means, 12 hours of cars should get you at least $2.4m. Which is at least $200k better than doing 50 cargo runs.

 

So yes, if all you ever get is the Hunter, then it's "better" to just buy it without ever touching cargo missions. If you ever buy any of the other aircraft, or ever do any of the cargo missions, you might as well do 50 of them. You'll have 2-3 months to do them before the Hunter is dripped, so you have plenty of time to just do a couple here and there.

I didn't even see the leaked steals required when I wrote this I just guessed a number.

 

I just did my 6th steal to get a nice 400k discount on the rogue had like 10 million and figured the hunters going to be here maybe late November so gotta spend my money on something.
