suicidehummer
The title pretty much explains it; openiv says I need to copy the new update.rpf to mods or else the game might not work, but when I click "copy to mods", it warns that my mods will be lost. What should I do?
_CP_
Reinstall there mods, which requires editing update.rpf. Addon vehicles won't work for now, because gameconfig.xml file has to be modified.
suicidehummer
I don't understand, are you saying I have to reinstall all mods for every update? That's onerous. Most of my mods are replacement vehicles BTW.
ikt
Yeah, every mod that does something in update.rpf needs to be completely reinstalled. Use add-on mods in the future to prevent this annoyance.
suicidehummer
Yeah, every mod that does something in update.rpf needs to be completely reinstalled. Use add-on mods in the future to prevent this annoyance. The realistic driving mod only supports the existing cars though, and that's what makes the game even remotely playable for me.
