Aslad
Has anyone else noticed this? So far I've test flown planes via friends, and all of them seem to have virtually no brakes. They don't stick to the ground like other, older aircraft and instead just bounce off the ground at any attempt to land them. On top of this, they have very odd handling characteristics, both whilst taxiing and whilst in flight. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's definitely weird. But seriously, why do these planes have virtually no brakes? It's extremely difficult to land them because they bounce and just don't stop. Is it just me being bad, or have other people noticed this? Like I can land the Besra on Chilead no problem, but with these new aircraft you can't even land them easily on a runway...
Professional Amateur
I haven't noticed too many landing issues (apart from the Alpha-Z1's speed and the Starling having no outrigger wheels) but the ground handling for taildraggers like the the Mogul and Nokota are definitely way off what they should be when taxiing. It's almost like they move completely sideways. I think it's a byproduct of the different handling options available for the new aircraft because they act quite strangely at times. 555-We-Tip
The Alpha is absolutely insane on the ground. Gridl0k, Professional Amateur, askinnywhitedildo and 1 other
Rewdalf
Can confirm that the Rogue turns into a brick if you extend it's landing gear in flight. I'm used to extending the gear before landing whilst descending, but the Rogue will just tank into the ground if you pull the wheels out at any sort of angle... Loses all of its maneuverability the second you hit the gear button. Makes for some weird landings. And yes, none of the new planes have brakes. Very annoying. spincther
yes. the brakes are pretty much non existent. Aslad
SilverRST
Yes, I got my very first new plane and I got rekt at the hangar doors within a minute... Brakes are non-existent on most of the new planes. Aslad
Mattoropael
Brakes are non-existent on most of the new planes, I'll agree. Especially the two gliders (Ultralight and Starling) and the Alpha Z-1. At least the Molotok has decent brakes (I can land in the middle of Los Santos on some random straight road easily).

At first I just thought that the animated airbrakes on the rear were for show, but damn that thing can stop on a dime. Polaco
Well, yes, they are a bit weird to land (and sometimes, to control - i.e. Rogue with pilot and co-pilot tends to spin...), but on Alpha (the worst IMHO), you gotta stall it right above the ground, then land. Unfortunately, even not accelerating, it's speeding up already.

The Molotok is the ONLY plane in the dlc I've flown, and I thought the brakes were awesome.
Prince_Polaris
The Rogue during the mission where you and someone else need to bomb a bunch of places seems to want nothing more than to divebomb the ground Nossirag

Incorgnito
The P-45 and other taildraggers definitely have a weird thing where when you give it some rudder they like strafe sideways. Lol it's all messed up. The Mallard and Duster have it much more correct. Aslad and Professional Amateur
MagicalBasturd
To land the Alpha you need to either not plan on landing at all (bailing-out) or you cut the engines on your approach to a lengthy runway. Aslad

HeavyDuke
Hold on a minute, people land their planes? I though you were supposed to fly until you crash, bail out or get shot the fck out of the air. Furry_Monkey and Aslad
