How young were you when you started playing GTA and what game did you start with?

I can faintly remember playing GTA 2 when I was like 4 (my mother used to really be into video games)

 

But I consider my "first" gta experience to be Vice City on the ps2. I was about 6, and at the time it was the coolest sh*t ever. I remember I used to always have shootouts in the mall, killing all those guys in leather jackets while listening to the eerie music that played. Once I got up to Avery's mission (the one with the RC copters) I got stuck and I mostly just messed around.

 

And then San Andreas came out and I forgot Vice City ever existed. I didn't actually beat VC until I was about 15.

I was 4 years old when i first played GTA 3 in 2001, My older brother introduced me to it He was about 14 at the time, I remember we would sneak down stairs at night to play it
and we would stay up til the morning, Good times. That was nearly 18 years ago

GTA III at a friend's house, 7 years old. Will never forget that first time I saw Claude beating down a random pedestrian as a blood puddle oozed out below.

 

But then came Vice City, where my friend (as Tommy) decapitated a prostitute with a katana right outside the Ocean View Hotel. Pretty much scarred me for life.

I was about 7 when I started. I went over to my uncle's house and he showed me GTA Vice city. Back then it was all the rage and I couldn't get off of it. My grandmother was going on how violent it was, but my uncle didn't care.

When I was 7 years old I tried gta 3 at one of my classmates house, one year later when I turned 8 my mom bought me a PS2 and surprised me with gta vice city, which she had told me that I wouldn't be allowed to get! I will never forget that day - aaahh the nostalgia!! good times indeed.

I remember my best friend playing the top down gta but I only watched him play when Id chill at his house. Played a little GTA III at a friends house and it was cool but didnt really do it for me. Once I saw my buddy on Vice City tho it was a wrap. PS2 was bought and I played it hard. I was around 24 at the time. Played San Andreas when that came out as well. Couldnt get into GTA 4 and never made it out of Brooklyn/the Bronx areas. Am a Huge fan of GTA 5/online.

 

Its funny Im from Liberty City born and raised and have never really put in that much time in gta games featuring Liberty City lol.

I was 8 years old when my cousin came by for a visit, he was a really cool guy he even decided to bring he's own ps2 and we played Gta San Andreas, the game was so cool we played it for hours none stop, he even got a Game-Shark disk and we got a whole lot of cheats to the game.

 

I was so hipped by the game I just had to have one myself.
