How young were you when you started playing GTA and what game did you start with?

Original GTA on the PC (OCT 1997). A friend somehow made me a copy, that's all I played until my parents bought me a PS1, then Gex: Enter the Gecko became my obsession for a while. Ah, the late 90's - best time to be a kid, I think.

I think I was about 8 when I first played LCS on my friend's PSP. I was just driving around, lol. It wasn't until the age of 12 that I bought a PSP and started doing missions and stuff. Great game

My first encounter with GTA was playing the GTA 1 demo back when you can get demos after I downloaded it on Thanksgiving 1999 at 16. I read about the expansion packs for 1 during the same summer and knew about 2 from PC Gamer in early 2000.

9 years old (summer 2003) Vice City at my friend, it was instant love, not quite because of the theme but simply the gameplay, the freedom. A month later I was introduced to III too, and that's where the real love began. That vibe I got from that rainy dark LC instantly made me fell in love with the series, especially the darker toned Liberty City. Not a surprise that still III and IV are by far my favourites.

7 years old {1998} GTA Vice City, first, after him GTA III and then GTA San Andreas. One year later, i played GTA 1 or 2.

First introduction was in Fall 2001 at age 11. GTA III had just came out on the PS2 and I tried it at someone's house. By the end of that holiday season (or not long after) I had my own console/game and the rest is history.

I discovered the series back in 97 with the demo version of the first game, the demo came from a french PC gaming newspaper called Generation 4, it had ton of demos and the retail version of the game Powerslave aswell. I was six years old.
