Rockstars new pattern for releasing dlc

It seems that rockstar have developed a new pattern for dlc releases and its quite smart tbh.

 

after gunrunning we had a lot of drip feed content and we all knew that a dlc would release very soon after it finishes. and literally 2 days after it finished we got the trailer for smugglers run. and now that we have upto 11 weeks of drip feed until the next dlc i can see them releasing that one about a week after this drip feed finishes too. and i think i know why rockstar have started doing this. and its to keep more shark card sales going whilst the content is released weekly, but its also keeping the player base up by giving people a reason to play atleast once a week, instead of once every few months once a dlc dropped. and doing this back to back without having a week off is perfect for keeping their side of things great.

Yeah, that was my exact thought when they released the trailer a day or 2 after the Ardent. Theyre not even trying to be discreet about it at this point because they can get away with it.

Next update in December most likely from the look of things. Drip feed will most likely last through mid/end November.
