There's absolutely no point in playing the new missions

I spent 5 hours playing through extremely boring and repetitive missions only to accumulate 100k of stock. Truly a waste of time. I/E is still the only worthwhile source of income.

Do not buy a hangar for anything other than changing the colour of your aircrafts.

Agree, long missions for virtually no payout. Maybe as we find more tacticts with accumulating stock it might become worthwile

Really? I had 60k of stock after only two missions solo.

For some reason it kept giving me product for categories I didn't do runs for though.

I don't think anything is ever going to dethrone Import/Export from being king, though.

I'm just doing them to get the trade prices. These missions are a lot tougher then any other business missions from the handful I have ran so far.

Bought the second most expensive hanger, it's only money, it didn't take much to get and what else is there to do with it?

I'll play for the new missions, until they become a grind. I'll get the discounts. I may sell the stock (but doubt it). Then I will play on and off, a few hours a month, until the next update that draws me back (the next update wont, it doesn't sound like my cup of tea at all).

If you play purely with money in mind, I/E is where you should stop. If you play for fun, ignoring the money, these are welcomed. For me, it stopped being about the money back when I was sat on $60m and had nothing left to buy.

Rockstar need to hire gamers as their playtesters instead of accountants.

If they had used accountants they would have been told that the time/return ratio isn't worthwhile and the playerbase wouldn't participate.

Aside from the Trade Price discounts, there isn't a reason. Even if they did a 2x$ event it's still not worthwhile

I enjoy the new missions.

Doesnt really matter to me what the payout is.

Same. I think sometimes we get so caught up in making money, we forget to enjoy the game. Hell, I still play Fleeca from time to time because I like the cut scenes and drilling mini-game. Fleeca pays sh*t.

But you get the entertainment of seeing a (NPC) prop plane OUTRUN a Hydra and blow it up just as the nose crosses the edge of the yellow circle. Lost the cargo and $1000 for Hydra-repair.

Can't believe the payout is so poor compared to some of the costs of the new planes and cars. Time spent sourcing and the hassle of freemode griefers makes it a huge waste of time. Even a full warehouse sale only nets you $500,000 and the time it takes to fill it makes it a poor investment. I would rather run I/E and buy supplies and sell stock in MC and Bunker warehouses. Only will source supplies to get discounted vehicle prices. The missions will be a fun alternative the grind at times.

Doesn't anyone just play for the fun factor of it anymore? I'm going to date myself, but I remember the days of playing Super Mario Bros. on the NES...run out of lives, start all over...turn the system off, start all over...It never stopped me from playing it over and over and over and over.

Aim for fun and you will never lose...

How do I rate this update...? 10/10. It not only allows gives me more to do, but it also enhances all the other game modes.

It would be a different story if the steal missions were actually "fun" but unfortunately they're not.

Maybe if I was a rich kid or a money modder, yes this game would be fun but you have to monotonously grind to get anything in this game

To legitimately buy something nice I had to work this game on the weekend all day like a full time job. Most people don't have 8plus hours to play a video game. They come home after work to have fun for a few hours max. That's the avg person and GTA its not possible to do that other than unless youre a griefer in a jet that you bought a long time ago and you come online to ruin someone elses evening.

Its why I'm finaly dedicating myself to be good at the jet cause honestly theres nothing else fun to do anymore.

All the aircraft are ultimately sh*t though. With the extremely-OP Explosive Sniper, all it takes is one guy to shut down an entire airspace until he runs out of ammo, then you get a brief respite as he resupplies.

Flares are cool and all that, but Rockstar has already invalidated it in the previous update with Homing Launcher (and its clones) no longer being the premier surface-to-air weapon.

Accountants don't play the game. They study the consumer behaviour and the consumer behaviour of the major playerbase is MOMMY I NEED A SHARCKERD I NEED IT FOR ALL THE PLANES ALL OF THEM I WANT THEM NAO!

Smugglers Run weren't supposed to earn yo game money, but instead give you a offer you would be compelled to spend real money upon.

the hunter survives a lot of hits. you need 42 to buy that discounted.

and btw i've griefed a bunch of HESR users with my rogue. they miss a lot then explode to bombs, and if i get hit i can repair.

and that rocket plane just lags all over the place.

And Mario Bros. is a simple arcade game that takes an hour to complete. (Don't get me wrong, though. I still have my NES and still enjoying playing Mario and Super C. I have both down to muscle memory.) Imagine if every time you wanted to play Mario, you had to grind through 20 hours of minigame where you jump from a platform into a skiball like ring to get enough points to earn another life in Mario... That's GTA. Massive grind for little return.

Use your Hydra in every mission and it takes as long as any mc or gunrunning resupply run. It also spawns infront of you. Gunrunning resupply runs also offer you vehicles but nobody uses them because it'll take forever.

They are incredibly tough for a novice pilot such as myself. I think my success rate is like 20% lol. And the few i did complete, did NOT end up back at the hangar with the plane i left with.

While I enjoy the new missions, and definitely enjoy testing out the dripfeed planes, I am convinced that someone f*cked up and misplaced a decimal point. 10k for one item of cargo, for a total of 500k with a full hanger? No way can this be correct, the amount of initial money needed to start up, with the amount of time needed to dedicate to collecting each individual item is just far too much for this to be acceptable.

So don't do them then.

I don't find a lot of the adversary modes fun. The stupid one with the tank, I played once, that was it. A bunch of them I have never played because they don't look fun. A load more were played once or twice at most, I don't play them because I didn't enjoy them. Crates, I quit doing those a long time ago because they were not fun. I/E I quit a while ago because it was the same old crap over and over and now only play those if money is getting low and I want to buy something.

It's as simple as not playing what you don't enjoy and play what you do. When was the last time anyone played arm wrestling? Hit the shooting range in Ammunation?

There's a ton more stuff to do even if you decide to not play half of the content.

Play for fun, forget about the money, do what you can play well, avoid what you suck at.

The content of SR isn't what's stopped me playing as much, it's the fact the stuff I enjoy playing is stale and the recent updates weren't interesting enough to me to want to play them much.

Hangars were a lot cheaper than I expected. Pretty sure you can get a hangar and do the supply runs for much less than a coke factory costs yet it will return a higher payout for the time taken.

They actually have.

you unlock the tride prices for the new stuff by playing them.

Bad pilots, like me can try to learn how to use Aircraft properly,i improved a lot already.

These missions are fun,and the soundtrack is really cool.

But i definitely wouldn't play these missions for money, when i am done having my fun i will return to I/E,especially now i have my black jetsam cargobob.
