How Much $GTA Money Have You Spent on Smuggler's Run?

I am one of those "buy everything" because I like to play AND I have the money to do it.

However, after watching this DLC drain $20 million out of my Maze account, I'm now tentative about spending more.
After playing with the new toys and doing a dozen missions to get trade prices, it just seems so fruitless.

I'm not seeing this as a DLC worth spending that kind of money on, even for the best toys.
I love having the hangar in Ft. Zancudo, so for me, that was worth the whole DLC.

But, boy, the upgrades to some of the planes are just silly, like Handling: Stock, Smooth, Sport, and Race.

I tried applying them each to the LF-22 Star and to be perfectly honest... I noticed NO difference in the handling.

Whatever code they applied to the handling, it's so slight and insignificant, that it makes the upgrade expense unjustified, imho.

So, what's your financial strain been do to this new DLC, or are you one of those "I'll wait for the discounts" types? lol!

And not for nothing, I often feel quite alone at Ft. Zancudo. All the lower level players are all at the airport.

I bought the cheapest hangar to experience the cutscene and a few missions. Have not stored anything of mine into it cause I dont want to pay for Insurance?

Around $3.5M on modding the living fack out of the Visione (I've changed paintjobs/liveries on that bizarrely-modeled automobile at least ten times...) and that Escort-looking car. I didn't touch any of the Hangar stuff.

OT: I spent 4 million on the hangar (2.6M + upgrades). I will buy the Rogue and the Hunter when it's available.

Not sure about the other planes, probably only when they're on sale.

 

I'll pass on the cars, nothing special.

I wasn't going to go all in because I figure if I end up liking it there will be discounts down the line for better stuff. And nothing particularly interests me outside of the Hunter and even then I'm setting myself up for disappointment on that.

I bought Zancudo 3499 and maxed it out for $5 million,I bought some clothes,helmets and masks.Probably will buy the Visione,Hunter and some other vehicles later.

To put that in perspective I have $139 million left.

There is nothing left to buy that piques my curiosity.

I may leave some of it to nice people when I depart.

Maybe 8m. Bought the 2.6m bunker in fort zancudo, and a molotok which i also fully upgraded. The other planes are meh, the grotti visione is ugly, just like most of them, and the escort (forgot its name) is too expensive for what it is.

Have to say, I like the hangar ( always like more properties ) and the new aircraft. But the buy and sell missions are crap, rather have new contact missions or heists.

Haven't spent anything yet and I only have about $1 million in the bank. Just don't have the time to devote to grinding these days. I haven't even bought an MOC yet. Eventually I could see myself saving for the Zancudo hangar, the Hunter, and maybe a plane or two. But I'll probably have to unlock the trade prices to afford it and the next dlc will probably be out by then. It's fine though. While everyone else is bored of the new stuff in a week, the game stays fresher longer for me.

Not sure, about 8 mil. Most expensive hanger with all the upgrades, personalized my Savage and Cuban 800. Bought a Molotok at full price and fully upgraded it.

 

Not sure about the Visione, (still learning my XA-21 and the other new Super from last update[edit: Vagner. I actually kind of love it btw]). Not interested in the other cars. Batmobile better have some new OP feature.

Yeah I bought a Nightshark and Oppressor just before it dropped that I didn't count. Versions of both new Supers for both characters too. That was kind of expensive.

around 9 million :

- cheapest LSIA Hangar with only the Workshop option

- the 2 cars : Visione and Retinue + full custom.

- 2 new Aircrafts : the Ultralight and the Rogue + full custom.

- customized all my already acquired aircrafts (hydra, savage Buzzard etc...)

 

I´ll be bying the Hunter and the Vigilante once they get released (maaaaaybe the Tula but ONLY when discounted) , I´m still not sure about the Rapid GT Classic. that´s an additional 7,5 million if we include the full customizations . that´s it , this update is the worst anyway....

 

for comparison purposes : I´ve spent around 25-30 mio. on GR contents , although it was a small disappointment IMO , but at least ALL new vehicles were spot-on ( got all GR vehicles, bar the Dune FAV , the half-track and the updated technical)
