Hangar Supply Missions

I see a lot of people saying where they 'land.' For those missions just nab it in the sky while it's falling. I think they decreased the drop speed for cargo for this very reason.

I noticed this, but it's still bloody hard to execute lol.

Trying to locate how high in the air it is and also timing/aiming one of your swoops in the craft correctly is not always going to happen.

That depends on the vehicle used. I struggled for a few minutes to get the package in one of the new planes yet when I had my Buzzard, Hydra, Mallard, Maverick or Frogger I could get it so much easier. Probably due to the way the new planes fly and the experience I have with the others.

Yeah I imagine it's much easier with the choppers. I insisted on using the planes provided because it's great fun dog fighting the Jets etc. I'd prefer to use the war planes for that reason if there was just a more convenient way of retrieving the crates afterwards, which is the general basis for the topic in the first place. But if there isn't an easier solution, Buzzards/Savages etc it'll have to be.

Like Gunrunning, I find these steal missions to be way more enjoyable than the steal missions for Finance and Felony crates or Biker supply runs. I find the Smugglerunning missions to be on par with most of my favorite contact missions, sh*t some are way more fun.

I got a steal mission involving 2 Buzzards on the roof of the Epsilon HQ, a stealth mission that requires 2 players if you want the quiet approach, solo if you're down to go guns blazing. I was able to blow up the steal vehicle and just take the diamond supplies on foot and then use my own Personal Aircraft instead of the designated Epsilon blue non armed Buzzard. I wanted to fly the Epsilon copter, but I did blow up a Mule after the knife flight resupply and was able to use my Molotok instead of driving that Mule for 10 minutes. Finally adding some nuance in how we can collect and deliver supplies!

A welcomed change for all I am sure.

With friends, these supply missions could be fun. One or two fly and take out the planes/helis etc. the others go on land in armed insurgent customs etc. grab the packages and take them back safely...

That said, I played solo yesterday and I was getting the same missions over and over. Destroy the cargo planes, guard the titan, kill the guys on the hotel roof. There were much better missions with a crew.

...at night. Ugh

Had a crate "appear" underneath the map at the hills between the railroad tracks and the coke lockup in Sandy Shores. I tore up and down the hill like a Jack Russell on meth until I realized, "Son, just ain't gonna happen today." Fuuuuuuuu--

The one where you have to do tricks in a plane to fill an ''excitement'' meter is the f*cking worst....

I hated that mission and got the plane drawn right on the first spot, too fast plane for such narrow passages, until, lolololll, I discovered we can do all the bridges stunts with an Buzzard, peace of cake, time enough and also easy fast crate pickup and escape back to hangar

The Howard is a terrible choice of plane for this; it's built for speed, not aerobatics. Much prefer to use the Mallard or Duster, but a Buzzard down the LS river is by far the easiest way to complete.

Most missions are just impossible solo and the ones you actually pull out make you spend so much ammo and rockets and armours/respawns that it becomes more expensive to steal a crate than selling it

Than you have NPCs with rocket launchers or guns that hit you 1 mile away where you can'te shoot back in range, they are a joke for solo play, deadly infinit respawning accurate choppers after you that on the first hit eat up all your armour + get your health into red (just 1 hit, many times you have to run for cover while they hit you accuratelly again and again), all of this mixed with lobby players going for your prize atvany second

And if finally you get to store the damm expensive cargos after those frustrating adventures, get ready for worst stress cause they will not bring you cash until you get the sale with lobby players after you again

Nothing beats my MC business, just buy the damm supplies, go have fun, come to sell between 35K and 56k (so I NEVER get raided and possible piracies dont take too much) and only worry with sales.

Half sales are piece of cake. Plane, chopper or boat, you can avoid the lobby easily, only the slow van/trashtruck require emptier lobbies

But make no.mistake, just owning the cheapest Zancudo hangar is a great gamechanger, specially with living quarters so you can spawn right next to your aircrafts and also a workshop to upgrade new purchases

I wakeup by my buzzard or rogue and from there I can esay fast go where I want and do what I ever need

Plus, since you have clearance to the whole base, whenever you need a Lazer, you just walk into one and climb and when the base finally sounds the alarm you are already airbourne and heading far without any single trouble until you loose the stars, no need to buy an Lazer at all, when you come back you are forgiven and have clearance again, lol

Most missions are just impossible solo

Which ones exactly? The one (in 3 different locations randomnly) where you have to bomb an base/camp with rocket NPCs firing at your plane/chopper and the one you fight the salvage in the ocean

Your bombs are wasted before you finish bombing or you get hit by rockets or bullets and respawn back on foot, with no.means to get back into the ocean, to fight NPCs that can hit you a mile away with very deadly bullets or accurate rockets, where you cant hit back so far you are

I have done 15 successfull runs of those missions but as I said, the resources you have to pull out to fight back are way too much expensive, even now with double pays

Also many times I desperatelly managed to get my way, after crazy creative solutions and when Im almost at base, here comes Mr troll player, many times on a damm oppresdor, to blow it all away on the last minute, so all that remains is the HUGE bill of your ammo ressuply (10 homming rockets, loads of bulkets, 5 heavy-armours, grenades - just do the math)

The other missions are not that difficult providing nothing goes wrong with your craft but if you cross that line and get killed/crash once, all will be crumbling down while you are on foot at the mercy of enemy choppers or NPC rockets and super-human-magic-range shotguns

The bombing is a waste of time actually if you are playing solo, unless you are skilled enough in bombing.

Use vehicles like Buzzard or Hydra to destroy the bases.

If you don't have any, snipe RPGs first and then do the rest with an armored car. If you need to destroy helicopters and trucks, the best weapon is

heavy shotgun (a few engine / tail rotor shots will do the tricks). For Tug boats use explosives.

For salvage mission use provided Tula, fly to the base, land the plane somewhere, snipe all the NPCs, then land Tula on water and dive for the crate.

When you are done, drive or fly to your hangar and ignore any chasing NPCs.

If you are against other players, it up to you what to do.

Up to $3k for ammo, armor and snacks for each mission.
