I bought the Starling in a 'what the hell' moment before going to be last night, and it's pretty wicked. It has a rocket boost add-on like the Oppressor, for example, and a bomb-bay and homing missiles. It's absolutely stacked and just as powerful as most other weaponised aircraft in the game.

I'm not saying it's cheap, but the trade-price helps, and when you compare it to the price of top-end supercars, it's very well priced.

And also remember you can earn in-game cash just by playing the game and keeping an eye out for 2x events, which cuts the 'real' cost of these items down considerably. Use your time wisely.

It may be greedy but at least the updates aren't paid DLC like practically every other game out there.

I would have preferred more paid DLC, like the expansions for GTA 3 and 4, but with GTAO character and co-op.

It even feels like the writers and voice actors in GTAO were paid with free DLC. No wonder Trevor went to Vinewood.

I would have preferred that too.

What sounds better? Paying 10-20$ for quality DLCs every 3-4 months or 700$ of shark cards everytime a ''free DLC'' comes out.

Before I start getting blasted by ''ITZ OPTIONUL U DONUT'', it is, but my education and job are not, and I do not have the necessary time to grind all the sh*t these DLCs offer, so if I could have spent 10-20$ for them instead of getting a modded account, I gladly would have.

That's not even a plane, it's rocket glider lol

Did you buy hundreds worth of shark cards to get that bank balance? Why not just buy it using all that fake money?

61m is nothing

it's not nothing imo, just saying he doesn't need to buy a shark card, he can simply continue playing the game to earn boatloads of fake cash. He's stating it like that jet costs 50 real bucks even though it's free.

I absolutely refuse to buy shark cards, even if it means I have to go no-life for a week to get 10 million like last week. They were reasonably priced when they first came out, £10 for the Adder wasn't bad, but as the game's prices have inflated, shark cards haven't.

Even though Rockstar says the updates are free, they aren't (if you don't have modded money at least). You either spend a ton of money, or a ton of time, and honestly I'd rather just pay for a DLC traditionally than stay with this microtransaction hellhole.

Shark cards would actually be ok if they were £1-3 for a million.

Cheesy_wotsit

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you play GTA Online, even if you NEVER buy an actual Shark Card, you go no where near the fake money for real money concept, if you earn every single dollar of your fake cash in the game, YOU PAY. Not through the time it takes to earn the cash, although that is a form of payment, you pay by having lower quality, rushed, poorly implemented, unbalanced, buggy, creatively bankrupt content being shoehorned in to your game. If you play GTA Online YOU PAY even if you never open your wallet.
