Smuggler`s Run DLC Makes Game Unstable?

My Game is suddenly so unbelievable unstable and crashes over and over again.

Everytime the game crashes i use my verify shortcut on my desktop and sometimes i have to redownload up to 11 gb i mean wtf it happens every few minutes.

Im the only one having problems with the newest DLC?

Now i gave my system more virtual ram 16 gb + my real 32 gb ram and hope this fixes it. It was 4096 MB before.

I uninstalled my nvidia driver with DDU and installed the newest one i don`t really know what else to do any suggestions?

 

It`s not a hardware problem all the other games work just fine.

I also have crashes but for a long time, so no - it's not 'Smuggler's run' problem itself. But it's true that the "Smuggler's run" doesn't provide any solution to crashes problem. I've given up to find a way out of this, I actually can't play Online, it crashes every 5-10 minutes and no difference between solo or public sessions.

 

It doesn't happen in single player mode, the game is rock solid there. I also sure that it isn't a problem with hardware because no other game has crashes like this. It's not a software problem because I tried this on different Windows installations (Win7 and Win10). And I also have checked cache (no problems found) and completely redownloaded the game from Steam. Also tried to remove graphics drivers via DDU and performed a clean install - no luck. It's 100% game's fault so I just had to stop playing online and wait for possible fix from R.

 

I have this problem for a pretty long time, from the early 2017 maybe. Actually I don't clearly remember a date when this problem appeared.

I redownloaded the whole game it didn`t help at all. Now i did send a message to the Rockstar Support and see what they will do. Probably just a standardtext with no helpful information at all will be the answer.

Their support is useless, I opened a ticket about 100% ingame bug (not properly saving "extended shadows distance" setting) but they twice recommended re-install directx, disable audio acceleration and clean install Windows. Only After 3rd iteration seems like they approved a ticket and elevated it higher

Strange stuff for me too...extreme lags, the map becomes funny(buildings desappearing, or whited out/missing textures); and crash when selling IE cars. Its unknow for me, usually GTA is very smooth on my PC.

This happened to me yesterday i mean how broken can a game be?

 

Nothing from the support yet. I could play for 2 hours yesterday after delefing everything Rockstar related in Appdata and Documents.

 

 

 

 

Edit: I played Forza Horizon 3 for 9 hours today without any crashes or issues aaah that was fun so GTA really is the problem i just had to test for stability for confirmation. The Crashes and Freezes started in the second week of july but it wasn`t that bad back then. Now it`s really unstable and unplayable im not gonna touch the game again before they fix these crashes.

 

Still no response from Rockstar Support. Im also checking this on the rockstar page from time to time.

For some reason i don`t know why my game is stable again got no problems anymore. Played 5 hours this morning and another 3 hours in the afternoon not a single crash. Maybe they did something to the servers or whatever.

 

Im just glad it`s stable again.
