Can you guys tell me if the Combat Helmets actually works ? i mean, the Flashlight, Nightvision, etc

The ones with four goggles have Thermal Vision and the ones with two have Night Vision. I don't think the flashlights on them can be used but I might be wrong.

BTW, are the new helmets bulletproof? And how do you activate thermal/night vision?

I don't see any option for the night thermal vision, I was curious more if they are bulletproof.

1. Thermal, Night vision and flashlight do not work.

2. They cannot be worn in aircraft. (At least the ones I tried)

3. They goggles can be flipped up or down by toggling the visor options.

As for bulletproof, haven'haven't tested :p

To activate them, put them on your character and hold down right on the d pad. Your character will flip the binoculars down and then go into your interaction menu > style > accesories > helmet and then hit square or x

I tested them with a friend. The new combat-helmets have the same abilities like the old BP-helmets. Yes, they are bulletproof.

If this is the case, then I stand corrected on the first point I made.

Just tested, yes helmets are ballistic and activate via interaction menu.

you can activate via interaction then use right on the dpad to enable/disable by flipping the visor up and down.

They are expensive so I would like to know...

What advantage does night vision or thermal vision give you?

night vision gives you the advantage of night vision whereas thermal vision gives you the advantage of thermal vision

For real though I'd suggest thermal since it's great at all times of day tbh, it also means you don't have to slave away on research to unlock thermal for the heavy sniper mk2.

Thermal mite be useful but night vision, I dont feel this game is particularly dark enough that its an advantage...

And for 100k when we have night vision already...but bulletproof....hmm, I mite pass, they look cool tho

The thermal vision is good for sniping at least.

PettyTheftCandy

Whats the PC button for flipping them up and down?

F11 is the default. You can remap it under the "GTA Online" section in key bindings.

So I can flip the visor up and down but I still don't know how to activate the thermal vision. You guys said it's under the interaction menu, but all I see is the option to flip the visor up and down, not turn it on?

Edit: nevermind, I figured it out, on PC you press Right Shift when selecting the helmet in the interaction menu.
