Is FZ Hangar worth it?

FZ is like living in a police station, put a foot wrong and you've military all over you.

 

It's a war zone down there due to it being the most popular choice location

 

It's full of modded accounts where they just buy all the vehicles to troll so constantly having cargo blown up as about to enter hangar after travelling 20 minutes to get the damn thing.

 

Already own a tank and hydra and with my bunker being more near the prison, there's nothing down that way for me.

 

I wasted 5.2 on A2 hangar before moving to Lsia

I like FZ. I don't have to worry about griefers, if one does happen to appear, most of my crew/friends own it so they're right there to back me up.

 

As others say, you have the military right there so if someone doesn't own the hangers there, they'll be shot down by AI Rockets/Jets or the terminator aimbotting AI.

 

My bunker is right next door, my yacht is just a few seconds away and so is my Coke business.

 

I felt like the majority of griefers would own the cheapest hanger, just because it's the cheapest so majority of people would be there but then again, free Lazer within a few feet. Another plus for my buy.

 

All in all, 10/10, would buy again.

 

Saying only modded or glitched accounts would buy the FZ hangers is stupid btw..and then saying you yourself bought the hanger there? Ironic.

 

I know legit people who bought the hanger for the same reasons I did.

I didn't experience it first hand, but I would assume that the initiator will get the stars. As always.

It's very well worth, even if you only want to get it to customize your old Pegasus aircrafts:

 

-You can freely roam around Fort Zancudo without the cops on you, as long as you don't start trouble;

 

-You get a welcoming AC chatter for landing on the base, and driving in through the gates;

 

-If you like it, it's easier than ever to steal a Lazer;

 

-R* added new NPCs activities in the base, you can now see jets landing, taking off, taxing into the small hangars;

 

-A new place to land your aircrafts.

 

-Also: New spawn points for PV right next to my Hangar.

In my opinion, the whole DLC was worth it just for the access and hangar at Ft. Zancudo.

 

By now, apartments, living quarters, and office decoratives are just a waste of money.

But, if you're like me, you still by them.

Like the Yacht, this location is a non-essential luxury for those who just want to enjoy the full, immersive experience of the game.

And who like spending $20M on crappy DLC toys. <sigh>

Yes it's worth it when you call your Pegasus aircrafts they spawn on base. The same applies to non-aircraft like the Insurgent-Pickup, Marshall Monster Truck, etc...

 

Although this might work also at LSIA, I don't know.

...been happening on the base since 2013. If you survived the 4 stars long enough to see it, this is not something new.

Where do your ceo/pegasus/personal aircraft spawn if you own the most expensive one at fz?

I saw some video of the west hangar where they literally spawn feets away from you

Me and my friends sometimes break into FZ in Pantos and wreak havoc. Wouldn't be able to do that if I had clearance

I have the LSIA one, and barely run into people because everyone buys the zancudo one.

Then again, most sourcing missions send me all over the countryside and back through the city to LSIA - so if the missions are the same for zancudo, i'd suggest zancudo.

No. Charlies doesn't know how to work on those.

He can't touch the Oppressor, either; even though he should be able to fix a flying motorcycle.

Apart from a crazy kamikaze, I haven't had any issues.



I've got the furthest one which is the most popular in a forum poll (from when I checked out the thread) but in the lobbies I was in I didn't meet a single person that owned it or at least was inside/near it. They were all using the other Fort hangars. I haven't checked out how busy LSIA is now but if it's less crowded than the Fort I may relocate. Though, I did notice most source missions are above Vinewood (Sandy Shores/Paleto/etc.). That may be due to where I start the mission (the Fort) but knowing GTA they'll want to make you travel the furthest so cue me in LSIA going for a package in Paleto. Yeah...no. Fort is a great map-middle location, especially if you have your other businesses around like MC, which I have in Sandy Shores.

If tight on money, LSIA is definitely the way to go. Hangars are fun only if you're willing to spend the cash. I/E is still the best way to make money. I don't see myself doing CEO crates 2.0 all over again (apparently with a worst payout?).
