Oppressor Post Smugglers Run

I found out about the oppressor glitch before I even owned one, so as you can imagine I have only flown it glitched, It was one of my fave rides and fave way to travel

 

Now its so stiff and dead....

 

Is there any new way to glitch it back?

It became much more responsive and you could pretty much glide forever....you could go higher with the right technique etc

Speed boost 1 time use? You can use it twice. Just do boost 1 and keep the wheels on the ground until it finishes, then glide and you will then get a second boost to use in the air to go higher.

 

What i do then is bounce. Bounce your wheels on the floor while continuing to glide and you can just keep on boosting. They just have to touch the ground or a roof for a second. You can pretty much stay in flight as long as you want if you bounce off of roof tops.

Not that I'm aware of. I found that it's even harder now to bounce off rooftops while collapsing the wings and opening them quickly, which gave an extra oomf in your bounce.

 

Now, it just hops a little or you wipe out, altogether.

They were going to patch it at one point or another, don't lose sleep over it. Unlikely there will be a work around.

On the contrary, the Ruiner 2000 (during Fully Loaded) is the only consistent threat to the Oppressor. I easily got 100 kills over the 3 day weekend we've just had, and was only killed 3 times, all by the same guy in his Fully Loaded Ruiner 2000 that I couldn't even lock onto.

 

Literally everything else was either destroyed or fleeing. The Oppressor's reign may be in hiatus, but I foresee a return to form.

Ruiner never caught on. Its extremely accurate and lethal though. I run a 9.0 K/D ratio when Im in it. I only die when the cops get too me and Im naked on the street without it, and I'm on the way back to get another Ruiner, Lol

It has more range than the Oppressor IMO

 

I got to try out the Oppressor and I was proud to own my Ruiner. Although I might buy the Oppressor today anyways to go against jets cause the Smugglers run content just doesn't interest me.

It doesn't have to be just the ground or a roof. As long as noth wheels touch anything at the same time, it'll begin to refill the boost. I've used the side of sky scrappers, aircraft, yachts, etc to refill mine. (Although most pilots tend to get pissed when I use their plane to refill my boost... I wouldn't suggest "bouncing" off of an armed aircraft, unless it's your friends.)

I'm not, ive gone back to my second fave bike....if its gone, its gone, if not I would like to know how, trust me I am the last person to lose sleep over GTA...

Never did the glitch, always loved it and still love it the way it is. Yeah, it can be a damn griefing tool but it can also be an anti-griefing tool if you grief the griefers with it.

Bobbing up and down still keeps you airborne for a long time, but it's no longer infinite and the backflip is almost dead, making any type of climbing impossible. I managed to go from Vinewood Hills to my hangar at the airport with only the first boost, but honestly it feels like you're flying through treacle.

 

The screenshot above is from the other glitch I posted in the Oppressor appreciation thread, and it still works perfectly. It's great for getting around the map quickly (quicker than any other vehicle in the game, I think) and will allow you to absolutely destroy the longest freefall event (since you can go waaaaaaay higher than any airplane or helicopter), but it's no good for combat. That's a completely different game now.

Yep, something will show up on there. It's only just been patched so it will take a while to figure out a way round it.

Unless you're playing in a solo session, it gives you an unfair advantage in countless ways, in or out of combat. This site prohibits the discussion of exploits through external means and I don't see how this is much different. An exploit is an exploit, plain and simple. It's capable of ruining our gaming experience. For players who have had to deal with griefers using this for several months, it's hilarious to see Rockstar hand the Ls out with this update.
