Best Zancudo Hangar?

How is the titan landing and leaving at FZ? I saw that in some hangars there are light poles and other stuff that could potentially be problematic

I decided on the west hanger, near the sea. Seems like it's the least popular. I've had missions with people in the other hangers but they are too concerned with their neighbors to bother me.

The west hangar is not only the most convenient, it's the most realistic. A civilian use hangar would be on a separate area of the base from the military use areas. Fort Walton Beach airport (VPS) on Eglin air force base is a real life example of this. A small commercial terminal is connected to the Eglin runways by a taxiway but is somewhat separated from the military buildings.

I went for the water side hander at FZ;

 

Personal runway for small craft and not so far to taxi to the main runway for larger ones. Plus it can do everything the most expensive one can.

 

R* love highly inflated prices for location then go and do something stupid like put it next to light posts to snag your wings, or have you pay for golf carts in your bunker but put two ballads around the parking bay.......

As everybody told, western one all the way:

You can land and take off from any direction (except north haha) and touch directly the corona to enter/deliver, not loosing any time taxiing or whatever: profit profit profit !

Had the one right in the middle, switched to the west hangar as you can call vehicles and they spawn right by you instead of out on the road. Can easily do fly overs to drop supplies then circle around right and come in for a quick landing. Also bought the bunker that's right there.

Maybe "remove" the Pegasus vehicles back to the Pegasus system (no longer Personal Aircraft).

If so, that's a super dick-move. In addition to throwing away ALL the upgrades and the 50% depreciation of the old building, you have to throw away all the custom paint on the Pegasus aircraft, too?

Pretty sure the purchase failed msg I'm getting is due to unsold crates in the hangar.

 

"Stock" referring to that and not aircraft.

Finally bit the bullet and went to "upgrade" from LSIA Hangar, to the West Hangar in Ft. Zan...

 

Slowly clicked everything, waited and took the time to decide to press purchase, wondering if it's a good move for $4.5mil

Greeted with purchase failed because I have 10 units of stock in the LSIA Hangar.

Anyone else notice how the hangar roundel design changes as you get closer? In distant shots it features a central red dot. Lots of airstairs and other equipment also vanish on closer inspection, although that's undoubtedly done with ease of access in mind.

^ yeah its just a different design between low-res / hi-res props. I'm guessing they made some design changes in late stages of development and they forgot to update those low resolution textures.

 

It's the same reason why sometimes in reflections you can see something thats not there anymore (reflections are using low-res props)

The one in the middle is closer to the best lazer spawns. The runway or lack of one isnt a problem. If you get into a fight in zancudo, its easy to get inside to get a vehicle.

I just bought my first hangar last night. I bought the hangar that is in the center of the military base. The primary reason being was that it was on sale for $1.3 million. I also wanted it so that I could enter the military base without getting a wanted level and for the security against other players (as mentioned by previous posters). As for the benefits of one hangar over the other, I don't think there really is one. It's just more of a preference of the player. I prefer being almost in the center, equal distance from everything.

I had the cheap hangar at LSIA, with workshop, traded it in for the expensive central hangar at RD during the black Friday sales

 

Had the failed message due to stock, sold the stick, swapped hangars

 

To get like for like, I paid just over $1.8m for the hangar and the workshop, then got $900,000 refund from the sale of my old hangar
