Bitch and Moan Thread - Smuggler's Run Edition

The steal where you have to shoot down the three large planes while dogfighting the jects could be fun. But they removed the icons telling you if the planes are up or down. Making it much harder to keep track of eight or nine planes in the air, at night, while they are shooting at you and going in opposite directions.

And then when you finally do get the cargo it is a tiny box that you have to hit perfectly.

Then fly back over the map in a slow planes with jets shooting at you.

Could have been ace, actually frustrating.

It seems like doing hangar missions isn't really profitable. I mean, $10k worth of product for each supply run?

You get a bonus for blowing up other player's smuggling goods.

Now go have your fun, my girl ;)

Yep I've officially been priced out of the game. It's been fun, guess it had to end some time. I simply don't have the time to grind to even purchase the hangar and workshop, let alone a SINGLE aircraft on top of it. That will take months and months and months for me.

Sad times.

I've bought the most expensive bunker at Fort Zancudo with upgrades for about 5 million. I've bought and customised the Tula and Molotok. Prices of the aircraft are high, but I expected it to be that way.

The Tula is fairly slow, the front machine gun controlled by the pilot is about as weak as the one from the ardent. The bombing ability seems to be overpowered at first glance. I haven't figured out how to control flares and carpet bombs simultaneously in the Tula, since pressing right on the D-Pad puts you into hover mode.

Molotok is fast, agile, comes with flares and missiles. Again the machine gun is laughable.

It still seems like the hydra remains king, even without flares. I expect any of the new aircraft are extremely vulnerable against the cannon of the hydra.

That means dogfights and air combat in general with other players in the sessions seem uncompetitive/useless with these new vehicles. The locations of the hangars are terrible, already the areas around them are densely populated with players. Who thought it would be a good idea to focus all the action in two areas.

Not really encouraged to do any sale or supply mission in a public lobby.

Oh and the insurance on the aircraft, HAHAHAHAHA.

The value of each individual stock always stays 10K? It's not like the crates warehouse? In the crates warehouse the value of each individual crate goes up when you have many crates & you sell them together so I assumed it will be the same thing in the Hangar Business.

So are are we all agreed that I and many others are right and this is just another rehash and same old crap? It honestly is crates 2.0 and I hated crates.

Moved my hydra buzzard and savage into hangar but not bothering buying any new planes total waste of money with no use at all.

Done a few supply missions,Meh, crates Zzzzzzzzz.

BS Points for blowing up people's planes and insurance? LOL you couldn't Make It up. What a total abomination of a DLC

Total Snore

And as someone said above it isn't profitable at all really.

Back to other games. Had my 2 hours of this monitonous sh*t

I think I'm just done with this game I ignored it in gun running but it's just turning into a warzone why do we need planes that can bomb and helicopters that can shoot a stash of missles Its just a fuvking 3rd world country here thought this game was supposed to be about city crime not war crimes

I'm actually so mad how R* how screwed this update up so majorly. Cars misclassed, drip feeding a bunch of aircrafts, especially the Nokota, Hunter and Bombushka like wtf?! leaving us with the trash vehicles. I'm hella pissed. I can't wait to see the patch notes, hopefully something in there will make me happy. THANK f*ckING GOD I didn't buy a shark card

And how does that work? :D Will my stored products continually rise in value when I blow people's stuff up? Let's say I have products worth of $500k in my hangar, I blow someone's goods up, then I have $510k worth of product in my hangar ready to sell? I don't think that I'll do that anyway, so...

It seems so. I currently just have 5 out of 50 products in my hangar, and each time I get +$10k for each product/supply run. So it's now $50k that I can sell. It doesn't seem go up like with crates the more products you have stored. :(

Has anyone tried a sell mission yet? I just tried to sell a single crate to see what it was like. Slow plane with a front facing minigun against a 4 star wanted level that you can't use Lester to get rid of (didn't try Bribe Authorities) AND 2 ai buzzards who are almost impossible to get in front of you so you can shoot them. Ended up getting my engines shot out before the first of 5 drops....and that's in a relatuvely quiet peaceful lobby with no other players after me.

If it's this much hassle to get £10k then I will just go back to selling cars.

Chunkey_Monkey

Can someone verify, are sales in empty public lobbies still possible to do? Because if not....

And there is no exit/enter animation for the havoc.. you just teleport in... Lame!!!!

Bloody hard if you ask me i've gave up already, Someone told me the homing launcher has been buffed thats BS its just taken me 45 missiles to get 2 hydras they killed me 10 times, now i may be using the launcher wrong ? I dont know cuz i only play alone but I wait for the red square to stay red then fire and still f*cking miss lol

Also this spawning your own aircraft isnt at the side like M/C ive just had to nick a car and drive over a mile to get to my spawned buzzard

We been ripped again LOL

I am also priced out of the game.

Not buying a card. Would rather pay for a standalone update pack rather than pay for a card.

Even at the trade prices these vehicles are anything up to £40 PER VEHICLE.

This might be the last straw in the game for me. Think I'm just going to use the game to goof around with mates and ignore all updates.

Soooo for know it seems its not even really worth getting in to the smugglers deal due to its op enemies and little profit. All i see good enough is to carry on with previous money making methods amd just buy the aircraft you reaaaally want, f*ck the hangar and all it comes with. The savage and that other old school jet is what i only see worth it.

AHHHHHHH!

I just got the Hunter sale mission for the air-cargo!

Flying the Hunter was the most beautiful thing I've ever got to do.

Faith in DLC restored.

We Are Ninja

I'm not dropping millions to be easier pickins for a fighter jet. Scrambling for cover is a pain when you're on the ground. There's virtually no cover to scramble to while in the air. That, and while I'm not a plane guy (at all), I don't see some WWII Frankenplane faring very well against the Lazer/Hydra cousins. I think I'll pick up the cars that are released and go back to I/E.

I'm happy with the hanger itself so far, but something tells me the actual smuggling missions are going to be fairly rubbish, and that the airspace of Zancudo and LSIA will be getting a whole lot more hostile now...

I mean... isn't that kind of complaining what this thread is for?
