Where are the new races you promised, Rockstar? Morons!

They never promised them in this update. IF you read the Newswire article they stated that the races would be coming later in the year.

 

 

 

 

I am also priced out of the game.

 

Not buying a card. Would rather pay for a standalone update pack rather than pay for a card.

 

Even at the trade prices these vehicles are anything up to £40 PER VEHICLE.

 

This might be the last straw in the game for me. Think I'm just going to use the game to goof around with mates and ignore all updates.

we just had x2 I/E sales, i only played on the weekend and made almost 10M in 2 days just seeling cars and bunker in between

 

if you dont play, you cant buy.

 

I did the math for you.

According to GTASeriesVideos you can sell up to 3 cars per hour.

With 2x I/E sales every high end vehicle should give a profit of $ 160.000 ((100k - 20k)x2)

The bunker when buying supplies for $ 75.000 needs 140 minutes (with upgrades) to produce $ 210.000 to sell to LS.

 

If we break it down to an hour, your profit could look like this:

I/E 1h : 3 high end cars : $ 480.000

Bunker 2,33h : 1 bar of product : $ 135.000

1h : 43 % bar of product :~$ 57.857

 

Maximum profit in one hour, considering no damages while sourcing or selling cars: ~ $ 537.857

 

$ 10.000.000 : $ 537.857 = 18,59 hours

55 cars sourced and sold, almost 8 bunker sales. Average playtime on a 3 day weekend 6 hours 12 minutes. Very reasonable and not time consuming at all. There might be some bonuses for full lobby sales or vip missions in between, but the overall time shouldn't be affected by more than an hour.

 

If I throw in 3 additional headhunters for $ 21.000 every hour, you would need 16,64 hours to get to $ 10.000.000.

 

I have to throw a wrench into your numbers. It is mathematically impossible to sell 3 I/E cars in one hour, unless you already spent the previous hour selling them.

 

Let me explain.

I/E sales have a 20 minute timer that starts as soon as the car is delivered to the buyer.

Assuming we are moving fast, it takes 3 minutes to sell a car and with customizing and all the loading screens about another 2 minutes.

So from the point you are able to hit "Export" to the time you get paid from the sale of that car is ~25 minutes.

That means to sell 3 cars in a hour, each hour would have to be 75 minutes long.

 

So the only way that is mathematically possibly to sell 3 cars in a hour is if you started the hour selling one.

And there is no exit/enter animation for the havoc.. you just teleport in... Lame!!!!

Sales in a private lobby is still possible. I've been testing this update there extensively myself.

 

 

No countermeasures for civilian aircrafts.

But homing rocket launcher is buffed.

I didn't see that in the patch notes, but what I did see is that the Flare Gun can now be used as an aircraft flare.

 

 

Insurance charges for blowing up jets...

It's cost me $1,000 to "rebuy" my "Personal Aircraft" that got destroyed. If you can't afford $1,000 go punch some pedestrians.

 

 

 

 

It seems like doing hangar missions isn't really profitable. I mean, $10k worth of product for each supply run?

You get a bonus for blowing up other player's smuggling goods.

 

Now go have your fun, my girl ;)

 

And how does that work? :D Will my stored products continually rise in value when I blow people's stuff up? Let's say I have products worth of $500k in my hangar, I blow someone's goods up, then I have $510k worth of product in my hangar ready to sell? I don't think that I'll do that anyway, so...

The value of each individual stock always stays 10K? It's not like the crates warehouse? In the crates warehouse the value of each individual crate goes up when you have many crates & you sell them together so I assumed it will be the same thing in the Hangar Business.

 

It seems so. I currently just have 5 out of 50 products in my hangar, and each time I get +$10k for each product/supply run. So it's now $50k that I can sell. It doesn't seem go up like with crates the more products you have stored. :(

 

1. Testing has not provided any proof to the notion that blowing up other players product increases your own.

2. This is still being tested, but it seems each type of crate has different required amount needed to get a bonus, and each item has a different bonus. (i..e Animal Parts increase 12% every 10 units. Alcohol/Tobacco increase 5% every 5.

A source mission could take anywhere from 10-15 minutes.

There's really no point in doing these missions, aside from unlocking the trade prices.

 

Some of the missions are really fun but, wow, talk about a terrible time-to-money ratio.

Police choppers are to fast, there's no way they could keep up with a plane, jet or anything.....

 

It's stupid they can go to high altitude as the mongul...

What the f*cking f*ck is up with this mission music they keep adding? Seriously, when I'm doing the new crate fetch missions, the new scores for Smuggler's Run sound like a bunch of disabled robots farting. And f*ck me if there's no songs I like on the radio and I want to fly in silence, because I have to mute all music in the game or listen to dying washing machines that are meant to make me feel 'tense' or some sh*t.

Immersion blah blah aesthetics yadda yadda I'm still gonna be pissed every time I bumble my way awkwardly up the stairs that purely cosmetic stock gets floor space but my desk is upstairs.

 

Also, the "off the radar" Ultralight is genius (you're otr when going slow, in case you didn't know because rockstar don't mention it anywhere until you've bought one) but also frustrating as f*ck because you aim with right stick and fire with A, and I only have one thumb per hand. On top of that it's fiddly as f*ck and probably barely fatal. Wish you could just chuck a grenade over the side like a normal human would do.

Seriously, they could chuck a few thousand at some unknown artist and have about 8+ new tracks that don't sound like someone is putting a cat through a cheese grater. Gawd knows how it is considered acceptable and passes peer review.

I destroyed 33 buzzards in the titan escort mission with a lazer. It took me 12 minutes and 25 seconds to beat the mission includ the time traveled from my hanger to the titan and back at fort zancudo. Bad enough it takes the titan 9 minutes and 24 seconds to fly 25,000 feet. Its bs how long they made that mission last. I recommend if you get that mission to find new session. Rockstar made something worse than the stupid post op vans.

 

25,000 feet/5280 feet in a mile is 4.73 miles. It took 9 minutes and 24 seconds to fly the 4.73 miles. Speed = Distance/time. The titan is flying at 30.2 mph or 48.6 kmh

They've accidentally unlocked them in the creator as of right now.

 

Also, I agree about the awful forced mission music (which was also present in GR). Maybe I want silence. Or just sound fx.

 

For an open world game, it's getting less and less open with each update.

While working for another CEO or MC, my fully upgraded Rogue (Personal Aircraft) upgrades are disabled entirely. It spawns without the bomb upgrade, bomb bay does not open, and switching to missiles is not an option. Anyone else unable to use upgraded aircrafts as an employee or prospect?

They've accidentally unlocked them in the creator as of right now.

For an open world game, it's getting less and less open with each update.

 

 

The only music I hear in the game is when I'm loading it up or from NPC's in game. Try going to your audio setting and turning the music volume all the way down.

Getting killed over and over by 2 jets and infinite Buzzards with pinpoint accuracy is beyond bullsh*t.

Spawn a CEO Buzzard? The Buzzard shreds you.

Spawn my Hydra? The jet's missiles don't let me even take off.

I barely destroy a Buzzard and another already spawned.

I respawn and the Buzzard is already firing at me.

I just wanted the f*cking Hunter for f*ck's sake, HOW MANY sh*t CARDS I HAVE TO BUY SO I DON'T HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL f*ckING OCTOBER AND BE DONE WITH THIS BULLsh*t OF MISSIONS??????

 

In this game, even the AI griefs you.

Performing stunts to reveal gps location... jeez what is this with this canadian f*cks?

Waaaay to short on time.

 

It's one of the easiest missions! Focus on knife flights around buildings and don't touch the bridges, that's risky. But anyway, you need to be proficient at flying, true.When Ron starts telling you about this one, spin around and go back in your hanger and get your Buzzard. You can get through it much easier.

If you're starting at Fort Zancudo GO TO THE CITY. You would have to hit the west bridge and then every bridge north and east of Sandy Shores (including near the Altruists) to fill the bar. You can funnel down the river channels (even 6-7 in a row) in East Los Santos and get the bar filled faster, even adding in the extra transit time.

The new supply missions are fun I guess because they're new

 

The skylift sell mission sucks

 

the missions all give you planes but let's face it Savage or Hydra works better eveeytime

 

The payouts are TRASH and payin Ron?

 

Will be doing a few more missions to unlock the Tula trade price and then the hangar is for storage only, smuggling sucks hahahhaa

After 2 weeks of double pay in gr and i/e the pay for crates 2.0 in smugglers seems like such a waste of time. Mayby even at double pay. Vip jobs, Sandking sales, and a contact mission during cooldowns in a private lobby is way better money per hour than crates 2.0 seems to offer.

 

With what the pay appears to be i don't see myself doing smuggling. However i will purchase a hangar in hope of ending Ron from calling me ever again.

 

I would just give R* only a one thumb down for the smugglers dlc, but with Ron calling ever 10 minutes about buying a hangar i give R* one thumb down and one extended middle finger.

I like the DLC overall but did they really have to make ur plane a personal vehicle like ur car or motorcycle. Spawn helicopter and it's like a mile away and now my car is gone soooooooo now I gotta steal a car or if I'm a CEO then call up my VIP cog....oh yeah I can just spawn a CEO Buzzard at my feet. BULLsh*t! I want to use my personal aircraft.

 

The end result is I'm using my Pegasus aircraft more than my personal ones.

 

Plus I'd like to take some cool pics of say my Slamvan next to my Rogue or next to my painted Duster.

 

I hope this gets fixed or they somehow allow for MC like despawning/respawning of all vehicles.

 

I rarely rant but trying to sort out using my vehicles with my new personal aircraft was a pain in ass today

I need to know if you guys are suffering this too :

 

First, the game always puts me in a session with 10 or less people, today, they put me in 8 people sessions 4 times in a row.

 

Second, when i finally manage to enter a full session (usually with 21 players in it) i suffer the unkown network error a few minutes later

 

Before the update this wasn't happening

That's why this smuggling biz is only worth it if you have a full CEO org with 3 associates that way you can get $40k in crates for a 10minute job. Once I've unlocked the aircraft I will not be doing this Solo ever. Only when with multiple friends and crew.

If you have partners, or one partner, yes you can sell multiple cars same time if you built up selection

Smugglers run is not the update i was looking forward to. The business side of things were thought out on a cocktail napkin, this update has got very little going for it.

The soviet era jet is cool but none of the new aircraft are worth the price. Hydra is still king. Definitely worth waiting for this stuff to go on sale. On the plus side i get Zacundo as a spawnpoint now
