"Low level clearance to Fort Zancudo"

The three hangars at Ft. Zancudo all say this, but I'm curious to know exactly what it means. At first it seems obvious: you can get onto the base to get to your hangar without getting a wanted level.

But I'm curious to know exactly what it means. Can you roam around the entire base freely? Are there restricted areas, like the other non-Smuggler's hangars, that'll give you a wanted level of you enter? I assume you'll get four stars if you try to enter a Lazer, but what if you just go near one?

Will members of my organization get the same clearance if they try to enter the base without me? What if I invite a friend who is not a member of my organization to my hangar, will he get a wanted level or is he cleared, too?

Just purchased one of the Zanduco hangars - I'll be testing these questions in time!
I was able to fly in and Flight Control announce 'You have low clearance within our airspace - please proceed directly to your hangar.
I hope I can run around Zancudo.

Downloading here to test. Finally we can feel like a military.

I wandered around quite a bit whilst calling pegasis vehicles in to store and never got a wanted lvl. Stealing a lazer will get you a 2 star.

There are new pegasus spawn point in zancudo. I assume they only work if you own the hanger.

is there a difference between the 2 million and the 3 million hangar at fort zancudo?

The 3mil one is larger on the OUTSIDE - they are both the same on the inside to my knowledge.

I think it means that you just don't get a wanted level or shot down when landing and taking off.

Just gotta avoid jumping from your aircraft for a dramatic parachute entry as I am prone to do unless you want to get blown to smithereens by a tank

Tou must behave on the fort. You can obtain a wanted level. But it works the same as outside the base. Call or bribe and it stays quite

are the doors to zancudo still closed?

No. You can enter and steal a Lazer without wanted level. At least during missions.

I got on this morning to check things out before work. A guy invited the entire lobby to check out his new hanger. I wanted to see it so I went. I went into Passive just in case. He promptly kicked us all out of his hanger. Instant 4-star Wanted level in the middle of Fort Zancudo for everyone. Most everyone died, and respawned stranded in the marshlands outside the base. I stole a jet and got shot down by an invisible Lazer that shot undetectable missiles halfway to my bunker. Good times.

It appears to mean that you are free to explore Fort Zancudo, but if you steal a vehicle or fire a weapon, you get a wanted level - and I'm assuming it's an instant 5 star or whatever you normally get for committing a crime in Zancudo.

That's always been true - well, the gates may have not been open, but during any mission where wanted levels are disabled, you've always been able to go in FZ and take a free Lazer with no resistance.

Nah nah nah Gta 6

You can do almost whatever you want, as long as theres no military around, you're fine to spam bullets and explosions, hell i've blantantly pulled out weapons in front of military and intentionally bumped into military grunts with no consequences, the gates are open too so you don't necessarily need an air vehicle to get in.

You can fly as high as you want and nothing happens, however there are things you can't do such as access the watch tower (grants you 4 stars) or access a garage near the front gate (grants you 2 stars), getting into any military vehicle such as a tank or lazer will grant you 2 stars even if theres no one around you.

tl;dr As long as you don't shoot near npcs or steal vehicles, you're basically fine.

I'm also sure that members of your organisation get clearance too, however if you invite someone to your hangar and they leave they'll get 4 stars (provided they don't own a hangar in fort zancudo already).

Assuming that you have access to a hangar, you will get 1 or 2 stars like normal shooting.

Unfortunately R* didn't do anything to avoid griefers inside the base, what makes a perfect place for trolls destroying aircrafts.

So, when i have a FZ Hangar and shoot into FZ Hangar, no one gets the Stars?

I think the griefers are also on LSIA, isnt it? so, everwhere is fair ;-)

I guess it's an attempt to prevent people from spawn killing those trying to get their aircraft out. I think bribing authorities will circumvent it though.

The military will react like police, but don't forget that they might kill you instantly with their Rhinos.

I had a complete old school shoot out with two other players last night. It was great fun and we were hiding behind stuff, climbing onto rooftops, etc.

The military took no notice, whatsoever, until one of us started using RPGs. Then, the stars came - but not full blown, just two.

The military personnel did, indeed, react like police.

However, just to tool around during online gameplay in Zancudo is fun, by itself. Doing it during combat with others... priceless.

The low level clearance does not give you acces beyond the metal detector gate in the control tower and also to the open garage on the small square near the main gate

i like trolling the tanks now. I drive in and then block them with my PV. I'll park it and the AI gets all confused. It's fun.
