Stole someone else's crate: Yoink!

CdpZrGf.gif

They quit the lobby and it disappears: f*ck you

BTW OP says you can 'hover' to drop crates to deliver (which I f*cking love) - you can fly over flat out and drop it too.

Checked the smuggler script.
It kinda works like Gunrunning, 5 sale missions apply to:
10 crates and less = one vehicle.
11 crates and more = 2 vehicles.
26 crates and more = 3 vehicles.
While there's other missions that has their own values:
Havok sale mission:
10 crates & less = 3
11 crates & more = 6
26 crates & more = 8
Bombushka sale mission:
One vehicle no matter the amount of crates.
Skylift sale mission:
10 crates & less = 1
11 crates & more = 2
26 crates & more = 2
Ultralight sale mission:
10 crates & less = 2
11 crates & more = 3
26 crates & more = 3

To add to that, Bombushka & Ultralight missions are disabled when playing solo.

When playing with associates or members, the Bombushka mission is disabled when having 10 crates or less and Ultralight mission is disabled when having more than 25 crates.

If you are a lone wolf, just stick to buying supplies for bunker and coke business and then do I/E with a headhunter. With this update I add a source mission at the end of the schedule because sometimes I still have a 5 min cool down, so I source a crate. It will make the schedule a bit longer but just by 5-10 minutes, where I earn some money, unlock trade prices and have fun instead of waiting for the cool down)

This business still seems ok if you make it work with I/E

Edit: I know that the crates's reward of 10k is low, but at least you don't have to pay for them, and according to this link:

https://www.gta5cheats.com/gta-online-crate-profit-charts/

The profit of selling 50 "normal crates" buying 1 by 1 (2k each) will give you almost the same profit than selling 50 crates of narcotics.

But here if you have friends to help (that's the main problem for everyone) you can get 4 crates in a row without having to: a)doing 4 missions paying 2k each crate. b) paying 18k for 3 crates.

So IMO it's better and you have more fun than the "old crates".

This is just an opinion tho, I Dont know if I'm right. Please correct me if not (just don't be a foul about it please ;))

This is what I was thinking. My plan at this point is to basically go Source-Sell-Headhunter-Airfrieght-Source just so I can get to 50 air freight crates for my Hunter discount since that's the only vehicle I even want. I'm just going to use my Hydra for all of the air freight missions because every other vehicle took ridiculously long because bombing sucks ass.

Which is sad, the missions themselves are kind of fun, or at least it's a little bit different from what we have been getting, but using the vehicles provided takes way too long.

Once I get 50 crates I'll just try to find some people to help me offload them. Or maybe I'll just get 10 in 5 categories and just do it myself, I don't know.

Call in a pegasus buzzard/hydra.

Once I got done with the 21 I called it a day, are we sure 50 needed and will missions count b4 hunter is actually released? My jam is i/e: sell>sightseer>source>headhunter.

I once had a guy join my solo lobby, stole my sourced car, and I then re-lagged myself out. He nearly got the car to a police station, but the car was there for me to take again and take to my warehouse.

Is there any way to influence which type of source mission you get? I want to only get the Hunter one, for reasons that, uh, I'm sure everyone can guess lol.

Unfortunately no. I've gotten it twice so far though, one for stealing medical supplies and another for chemicals. Thank god the mission is quite lengthy so you get ample time to get to grips with the Hunter :)

I've had it for narcotics too, so it's probably any type. I was hoping maybe one of them gave a better chance or something.

Is there a way to instantly fail a mission? It'd kill your success/fail ratio lol, but then you could keep doing it until it gives you it.

Did you enjoy flying me? What did you think of my missile barrage?

So this smuggling business ain't worth a whole bunch. $10k post crate pickup is poor by bunker standards. Edited by Smooth Longsack

Nope, but if you own one....

Unfortunately the cannon on the Savage works much better for the source mission than anything the Hunter has. On that note, I use the Savage for any of the source missions involving ground targets and for escorting the Titan.

Pro-tip on escorting the Titan:

Just destroy one Buzzard and let the other one do it's thing. On the variation where it travels from Chumash to Sandy Shores Airfield it only received ~50% damage.

Insta fail? Besides letting the timer run out or purposely destroying the supplies, both of which are too time consuming I can't think of any other ways.

The Hunter was a pleasure to fly, the barrage missiles is definitely my favorite thing about it, absolutely obliterates everything. It's quite slow in the HD era though, as compared to how scary fast it was in VC and SA. Or because the maps were just really small in those games compared to GTAV lol

I also love the look of it from the front and the gills it has on each side at the rear but I think the tail is awkwardly kind of long and the fact that I can't tuck the wheels in while flying makes me sort of dislike the exterior just a tiny bit lol

Other than that, I cannot wait to buy this thing and use it for GR and SR supply runs :D

New lobby...

I guess, but that loading - and then you've got the risk of an unknown error too.

Plus sometimes you get in a lobby that looks just right for a Hunter to party. Change, and you might be put in one where it's peaceful and people are trying to make money, and you'd just feel guilty to destroy their stuff.

What about the sale bonuses? I'm not sure how it works, when I collected the counterfeit goods after 5 I got a 5% bonus, after 10 I got 10% and then sold it for 110K, now I'm stocking on drugs, already at 20 crates and no bonus visible. Does anyone have a breakdown as to which cargo generates what type of bonus as to see which one brings the best profit?

Tip for the titan one people only blow up 1 of the 1st 2 buzzards and simply follow the titan it will only take max 50% damage till drop

Vital you stay on the tail and use hydra or buzzard

Thank me later :)

Lol I did this unintentionally because the stupid war plane couldn't shoot down both of the Buzzards properly, I always overshot it cause of how fast the plane was and how steady the Buzzards were.

Managed to get one and was sweating trying to get the other thinking it would blow the Titan up but thankfully there was about a quarter of its health left by the time it reached the drop off point.

I took 1 down and had a phone call so just followed it then noticed very little damage was happening :)

I gave up on the vehicles provided not my cup of tea il stick with my original work toys hydra, buzzard, savage

Doubt il be playing smugglers by the time hunters out

That's what I'm working on with the spreadsheet. So far I've discovered two different bonus brackets. Plus 5% every 5, or plus 12% every 10. Still testing to see if there are different brackets and which ones fall into which one.

If anyone was wondering Jewelery crate value goes up 12% per 10 crates. I'm at 40 crates and I am getting a 48% bonus.

So for 50 crates it's going to 60%.

As far as I see narcotics is the most profitable with upto 70% profit for 50 crates

now we getting a formula...

i sold 9 packages of alcohol & tobacco with a bonus of 5%.

so the difference between the goods is the bonus you get.

Okay, interesting, so certain crate types yield more money. Well, for now I'm alternating medical supplies and chemicals, but if narcotics is the best then next time I'll be doing it!

Hello there peoples. Today Rockstar introduced a 5th business venture into the game. The purpose of this thread is to help compile all the information regarding said business.

Doing this will help determine the profitable of said business and there are any "tricks" to it (i.e. 10/10/12).

I will be working on spreedsheat here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gzKmobDE9YVwMTZdyPY7WFViSsxMlVp6UeV06FzTWjo/edit?usp=sharing

And I will be updating this thread when I can.

Let the learning begin!

  • Price of Hanger is only based on location, and not production
  • There is room for 50 units in a Hanger
  • There are 8 items to source (Animal Materials, Art & Antiques, Chemicals, Counterfeit Goods, Jewelry & Gemstones, Medical Supplies, Narcotics, Tobacco & Alcohol)
  • You get to choose what items you want to source/steal
  • There is no cost to source an item
  • You source 1 item per person
  • There is a 2 minute cool down, per crate, before you can source the same item again.
  • There is a chance for a bonus to be applied to the sales prices of the stock. We still do not have concrete proof as to what causes this. This needs to be thoroughly tested.
  • Crates can be dropped off to the hanger by hovering over the roof and pressing "Right" on the D-Pad (confirmed for Xbox)

Crate Sales Amount vs Vehicle Amount:

Most Sales:

1-10 crates = 1 vehicle

11-25 crates = 2 vehicles

26-50 crates = 3 vehicles

Exceptions:

Havok sale mission:

1-10 crates = 3 vehicles

11-25 crates = 6 vehicles

26-50 crates = 8 vehicles

Bombushka sale mission:

DISABLED FOR SOLO

11-50 crates = 1 vehicle

Skylift sale mission:

1-10 crates = 1 vehicle

11-50 crates = 2 vehicles

Ultralight sale mission:

DISABLED FOR SOLO

1-10 crates = 2 vehicles

11-25 crates = 3 vehicles

-Courtesy of Fun 2

Your stated information on the wait timers for sourcing units of stock is not correct... I have only been doing single runs, solo and have had wait timers vary from under 1 minute and at other times be OVER 3 minutes... so the timer has to be at least 4 or 5 minutes... from the collection of the stock or some other programmed point in the collection run.

I have looked at some of the video I have streamed from PS4 and checked the time on 6 sourcing runs - I got two runs that had around 4 minutes wait time, three runs with around 3 minutes wait time and one that had around 2 minute wait time... that is total time from when the "1 of 1 cargo delivered" message appeared until it would allow you to select that same item again. There is no wait time to select and source a different item of stock (but then you lose the bonus???)

You can drop the crate over the warehouse on PS4 too (confirmed) but the drawback is ... if you are being pursued by any npc's (jets, helicopters), they will still attack you after you have dropped the cargo (this is also an issue if you fail to deliver in time, the npc's continue to attack you in free roam even after the run fail message appears).

According to FoxySnaps there is a 70% bonus for selling 50 units of narcotics stock at one time: Full 1 type gets bonus = 850k, Full mixed = 500K

https://twitter.com/FoxySnaps

But I noticed it appears the bonus may vary with the type of stock sold too - As his example for mixed showed 25/50 Medical supplies with a 34% bonus at $337,500 combined with 25/50 units of Art & Antiques with a 24% bonus at $310,000 but selling together for only $500,000 for the two mixed to reach a full 50 units of cargo... So it sounds like different items may have different bonuses?
