Business Knowledge Base - Smugglers Run

If you are doing the sneak zancudo resupply mission, make sure to land in the landing zone. My friend was drunk tonight and he landed randomly. It triggered the whole base.

Tanks galore and if you die at the other end of Zancudo it respawns you in the training ground every time. Then you have to cross the base with hostile tanks to retrieve your cargo before even thinking of making your way out.

We got really unlucky and the tanks blew up everything in sight. I ran for a lazer and got killed at it so I had to respawn at the other side of the base and run a gauntlet every time. After getting killed for fifteen minutes straight the game either ran out of tanks or I fluked getting in a jet and made it out.

Made sure to sneak the whole mission or it turns into a twenty minute battlezone where you have a gun and everyone else has tanks.

StandardDonkey

I just had to use three Havoks to make 6 drops in order to sell 2 crates? Completed it pretty easily but that's just stupid. I think that's enough smuggle running for me too

^ I had 3 havoks for 1 crate (was tidying my stock), landing the first one back at base I knocked over the other two, because of course I did, and it called the sell over and paid me $11k ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Did the escort mission in my Hydra and here's some data:

Starting distance from drop site: 6500m / 21325ft

Time taken from initial notification to "thank you" message: 486s

Titan velocity: 48 km/h / 30 mph (holy sh*t that is slow...)

Buzzards destroyed: 46 (including one that crashed on the Titan's wing)

Yeah, Rockstar are really dragging this out.

This mission makes no sense. Last time i did this mission, i destroyed 89 buzzards for 1 single crate. And that was with pretty sloppy aim. 89! The titan could be flying a bit faster and the buzzard-respawns should be limited. And i also tried to destroy it myself, but i did zero damage to that f*cking titan. Meh, next time i record the f*cking mission and try to beat my record. lul

How did you get 89 to spawn? Even assuming my aim was sloppy too, that's nearly twice as many as I spawned.

Also the Titan is indeed impervious to all player-induced damage and pretty tanky in general. One of those 46 Buzzards did a kamikaze attack on the Titan and it took a pittance from the explosion.

Used my savage for that. If you fly a circle around the titan (against the clock) you can force them to spawn directly before you, Minigun them down instantly.

I just killed one buzzard, f*cked the other one up so its engine was cutting out, then spent the remaining 5 minutes trying to park my Savage on the titan.

The real game is how fast can you drop them after they spawn. Savage works nice, but if you're skilled enough with VTOL, the Hydra is the best as it's way more agile even in VTOL mode than the Savage is. I even used my Tula once and just hung back in VTOL mode picking off Buzzards with my nose MG.

GUYS

During the Titan mission with friends (me in the Hydra, them in the Mogul) the guy manning the turret headshotted the pilot through the windshield and the mission failed. So you can do that if you're not in the mood for it :D

Double Smuggling Cargo Value !

50 Narcotics/Medical Supplies/Chemicals with 70% Bonus = $1,700,000

Now Smuggling Business is worth it.

even with the double payout it's still more cost effective to just do crates lol

37 x 3 crate supply missions, some of which are pretty quick and easy, to fill a large warehouse and get a payout of $2.2M

compared with...

50 x SR supply missions, all of which are pretty time consuming, to fill your hangar and get a payout of only $1.7M with the limited time double payout

R U mad R*?

Is that the large warehouse? I'm running solo, and I can't imagine filling up the large warehouses.

Yeah, $1,534,000 profit after buying three crates per run and filling it up to 111 crates. Takes ~8/9 hours on average.

Hangar cargo can get you upto 1.7m profit this week but takes far, far more time. To the point where it's pretty much not even worth it. These supply missions are the worst I've seen so far. Three individual crate pickup missions are more tolerable, and I f*cking hate those.

Is it possible to offload all 50 crates solo in one go?

I'd say the likelihood is extremely low. This business venture isn't solo friendly to begin with so selling full stock solo doesn't sound like it would be manageable or even possible.

Yep, especially if you get the skycrane ... My god that thing is slow. They are making it harder & harder to sell full stocks ... I miss the F&F large warehouse sales. (but not the filling up process)

Thanks Rafae ...

What's the quantity of crates that generates 2,3, etc vechles?

Eg I know that with the bunker, less than 25% stock is one insurgent, less than 50% is two and more than 50% is three.

Read the OP of this thread.

Taken from OP

Most Sales:

1-10 crates = 1 vehicle

11-25 crates = 2 vehicles

26-50 crates = 3 vehicles

Exceptions:

Havok sale mission:

1-10 crates = 3 vehicles

11-25 crates = 6 vehicles

26-50 crates = 8 vehicles

Bombushka sale mission:

DISABLED FOR SOLO

11-50 crates = 1 vehicle

Skylift sale mission:

1-10 crates = 1 vehicle

11-50 crates = 2 vehicles

Ultralight sale mission:

DISABLED FOR SOLO

1-10 crates = 2 vehicles

11-25 crates = 3 vehicles

Oh no. Those are where I draw a line. I just can't bear those.

I literally can't bring myself to do crate work anymore thanks to those.

Has the ability to steal peoples smuggling stuff switched off for everyone or is it some lobby number qty thing?

Don't think you can steal cargo being sold (red icon).

No I'm talking about the stuff being collected, it's always showing up as red for me now.
