1.) 10 crates max should give you a single vehicle 95% of the time. Don't go over that.

2.) Yes

3.) Lol no

3.) Umm yes, I had the skylift for 5 crates and had to deliver the container with tobacco and alcohol to a construction site. :)

And about bringing back the vehicle then: Are you sure you get extra money for that? Because i am pretty sure only bonus RP are mentioned ingame when this message pops up.

Just want to say, I finally got around to playing the supply runs, wow they are so easy and quick with the hydra. The new planes are alright, but hydra cut through these missions like butter.

The most likely explanation for the unexplained bonus is that it's for destroying other people's cargo of the same type at some point, because the game literally says that will increase the value of your stock (although fun iirc has said it's not hooked up to anything). So if you want to test, test that.

I'd suggest stealing and selling 10 crates in a solo lobby, seeing if you get paid what the computer told you, then stealing another 10 while also being a dick to every rival you see, keeping track of how many crates you destroyed. Sell them and see if you get more.

I tested whether the mission difficulty (based on product type) is simply "number of waves" and it was going ok (7 waves on 2 narc buys, 4 waves on counterfeit good twice) until I did a counterfeit goods buy, can't remember which, and got up to 12 waves of spawn-killing buzzard + rogue motherf*ckers, so I gave up. :D

Did my first real sets of sales today (previously only sold a couple crates). I was all by myself in the lobby. I have NEVER stolen/destroyed another person's anything, ever. Banked all my cash before launching each sale.

10 Animal Materials -- $121,200 (showed $109,200) -- Did NOT return the vehicle

10 Jewelry and Gemstones -- $121,200 (showed $109,200) -- Did NOT return the vehicle

10 Counterfit Goods -- $117,250 (showed $107,250) - Did return the vehicle

Also attempted selling 10 Art and Antiquities, but I accidentally bumped into the last Havok, tipping it over, and was unable to right it. Got paid, but there was no difference in what was shown and what I received ($68,250).

Which categories gain a bonus the fastest, and at how many crates collected??

Narcotics and Chemicals

Both get a 35% bonus at 25 crates collected and then a 70% bonus for full stock of each.

Medical supplies as well.

Chemicals, Medical Supplies, and Narcotics are the most "profitable", but get the bonuses the "slowest" as they only get a bonus once every 25 crates.

The ones that produce "the bonus the fastest" are Counterfeit Goods and Tobacco & Alcohol. They produce a 5% bonus every 5 crates.

Did the escort mission in my Hydra and here's some data:

Starting distance from drop site: 6500m / 21325ft

Time taken from initial notification to "thank you" message: 486s

Titan velocity: 48 km/h / 30 mph (holy sh*t that is slow...)

Buzzards destroyed: 46 (including one that crashed on the Titan's wing)

Yeah, Rockstar are really dragging this out.

Indeed. Got 3 Havocs & 6 drops for 2 crates. And 1 Apha & 5 drops for 9 crates this morning.

Sweet spot for me is Alc/Cigs and Counterfeits selling between 10-20 crates. Anything less and you risk the above scenario of getting a lot of work to deliver 20k worths of crates. Don't need the money really, but the steal and sell missions are both great for teaching newer players the ins and outs of air combat as well as a bit of ground and sea tactics as well. Plus they're all very, very fun IMO.

On ps4 I did a delivery featuring two shipping containers and cargobob.I delivered the first one normally and on return spotted the truck waiting for the second container.I figured I would try and lift the truck back to save time.Instead of picking it up it gave me the option to deliver the second container?Which I did and completed the sale.Even though the last container was still back at FZ

I saw the option to drop cargo a couple times over areas that weren't drop-off locations for that delivery. I didn't do it, but now am wondering, what if I had!

They have less cooldown as well.

4 Mins for Chemicals, Medical, Narcotics

3 Mins for Art, Jewelry

2 Mins for Tobacco, Goods

Too bad crates aren't worth 20k instead of 10. May have made this venture worthwhile, but 10k for 10-15 minutes of work per crate really seems... chincey.

Things you might have missed:

I used to like these guides but I realized how much of a drag it is to get to the actual point after watching the one for I/E.

It's almost like a dummy's guide to each update. 90% of the stuff us veterans already know and the other 10% we might not know is hidden in like the last 80-85% of the video.

I would say these videos are better suited for the casuals and new time players.

If you have a partner, to make crates back to back and by pairs, then it's worth it.

I have a theory that 3 is the perfect number. If you're focused, lucky, and skilled, you might be able to pull off an average of $300k per hour for all players. (Fill and sell player A, then B, then C.) The key is the time savings you get from having helpers. Not only do they spawn an extra crate, but they can also be quicker to the crate because they don't need to be in the hangar when the mission starts, they can be hovering over Sandy Shores ready to pounce. Also, 2 crates appear in one vehicle, so 3 crates would be in 2 vehicles. So, when they are in a reasonably quick vehicle, one person can take it with two crates in it while the other can be blown up so the other crate carrier can be in a Hydra for speed/fire support and the third would be the CEO host racing to meet them from the hangar on the return trip. I honestly think its possible to finish most missions with this strategy in around 5 minutes.

Yes, I realize that even at $300k an hour, I/E is still a hell of a lot better and easier. I've just been amusing myself with some math and theory. This is a poor money maker, I'm just curious as to how profitable it could possibly be. Especially while the glitched overpayments exist.

I just did a sale mission of 35 crates of Chemicals.

We were 2, and we had to deliver 6 small containers across Blaine County (started from Zancudo).

We had 3 cargobobs to do so: after picking and delivering 2 crates each, both hooks from the 2 first cargobobs just disappeared: we were forced to use the third one.

Ridiculous......

But easy and doable nonetheless, we managed to deliver everything in time.

It's a bug that gives PS4 and X1 extra cash. PC does not have this bug. Your math is close, but it actually works slightly different. From what I've been able to determine, this is the math used.

Calculated payout = ((Base Cargo + Cargo bonus) - Ron's 2.5% Cut) x High volume lobby bonus

Received payout = (Calculated payout x 2) - Base Cargo + Ron's cut

It's weird because the lobby bonus is used to figure out the calculated payout that shows up I'm the +$ amount, then the calculated payout is doubled with the base money ($500k) removed and original 2.5% Ron's cut added back in. There is some weird calculation going on behind the scenes.

The one thing I know is that solo runs are best for 10 crates, although I would risk it for 25 on one condition - I'd need a test run to go with 1 or 2 other crates to use up the mogul sale mission, it is ridiculously hard, 1 plane, they swarm you up so you make 1-2 drops at most and lose the cash - but not if its 1 crate, then ypu get paid. So you do the 1 crate sales to use the mogul up and the next sale goes for the 25 as it won't be the mogul sale again and definitely more probable to do. A logical choice of cargo for 25 crates is narcotics as they give 35% bonus. Other calculations don't bother me as solo is my game

This link is PC, but it doesn't show who is in the lobby. At about the 4:00 mark, you can see the bank total go from $888872 to $1627434 with +$738562 displayed.

I don't believe that was an empty lobby though. That added amount is consistent with about a 1% lobby bonus. $750,000 - Ron's 2.5% cut + 1% bonus = $738562.5

I was discussing this over on Reddit with a PC player. He never posted video, but reported that he never got the extra bonus either. For a while we were thinking it was a CEO thing, but eventually concluded it was a PC thing. If you're interested, check out the comments on this thread. We also had found a few PS4 and X1 videos with the strange bonus while we were trying to figure out the math.

Dear smuggling friends,

Can we have a sum up if all the various sale missions?

I start here, with the one I know... Please, let's complete that so we can have an extensive list.

- Alpha Z1, x1, 2, 3, 5 drops by plane. Fly in tight places to make the drop (between canyon walls, under bridges...)

Cargobob

- Skylift, x1, 2, 3. Drop the container attached to the Skylift on a spot

- Cargobob, x1, 2, 3. Pick up and drop a container to the truck. 2 drops by Cargobob, you have to change if there are not enough players in CEO.

- Bombushka, x1. Make 3 drops, while chased by Buzzards waves. Needs 2 players to start
