Gotta give it bullet proof windows or I'm killin the batman

A well timed rocket boost can take you out of the auto lock-on from another player

I am buying it for combat. Going to test it against aircraft.

Obviously it will be fun to use for combat, but even you have to admit you know right off the bat that there are better alternatives. (pun intended)

Also I do expect some rocket boost into the air homing missile jet kill videos from you.

You are correct sir. When I cannot run FL.

Thankfully these jets are no longer the Bane of our existence.

I still want to know if it's going to be limited time only.

Most likely so save up.

I just tried it, blows up from one rocket and you can kill the driver with one pistol shot, not very impressed. It's propably gonna be the case if you want it for the looks. Meh

Not supposed to be an armored car.

Why not? Wouldn't batmobile have some armor plating or special material? And bulletproof windows? At least make them take few shots for a balance.

No need to "balance" this car though. It's intended to be a tribute car, not the latest and greatest griefing tool. Same reason the Ruiner 2k isn't armored.

If you are buying this for combat, you are buying it for the wrong reasons.

It's batmobile so it would make sense to have some resistance. And yes it's intended for combat since it has rockets and machine guns.

When I say combat I mean PvP. Regardless, by your logic everything with weapons should be armored, and I simply do not agree with that.

That's not my logic I just said batmobile should. I said things with weapons are meant for combat not that everything should be armored. Pay attention.

Let's say it did not have any weapons at all. Do you think it should be armored then?

What I am getting at, is just because this vehicle has weapons doesn't mean it also needs to be armored. Being unarmored actually balances this vehicle out so it isn't another Insurgent.

We can agree to disagree. You think it needs armor, I don't, it's all good.

Y'all can't agree to disagree. The internet entitled hate that. Come on. Send each other death threats.

Back OT I would have preferred the Christian Bale batmobile with no weapons and FL ruiner resistance.

It should be armored. It's obviously not meant to be a replica, even if that's how a lot of you intend on justifiying it. It's half ass two fold, one the Batmobile is an armored vehicle, and two, to stay afloat in the current meta of GTAO it needed to be armored. Especially with all the new GR/SR vehicles...

Agreed here's an example:

Duke O' Death: Armored but no weapons

Weaponized Tampa: It has multiple weapons to choose from but with zero armor.

Ah yeah see this is why I disagree. I do not think every vehicle needs to be on par with vehicles previously released when it comes to combat effciency. Quite the opposite actually.

TBH I wish this thing didn't have weapons at all.

Edit: Not downplaying the logic that the Batmobiles are armored, that is certainly a solid argument.

The only weaponized vehicle that should be armored is the Oppressor

Also unlimited flares. And always ghosted.

A homing missile should (theoretically) kill a person on a bike while armor would prevent a $20k insurance bill every f*cking time. Probably should have explained what I meant by that.

I think it should have armored windows and one explosive resistance, like the CEO vehicles.

But alas, I can wreak havoc in a W. Tampa without needing extra armor, with this one and it's rocket boost I could do even more havoc and get away before any harm.

I just wanted it to be closer to what it is in movies, really don't care about pvp so I will still buy it. Plus it's gonna be limited most likely.

The Photos, WHERE ARE THEY?

Booty tease for you

I think I'll get one just so I can stare at dat ass all day. I hate the turbine-esque maw on the front, but I absolutely love the Tumbler's absurdly large dually rear.

What happens when the butt implants go bad? I shudder to think lol...

Mach, i just feel if they embrace power creep with supers, military vehicles, ect than why shouldn't the Vigilante be included in that tradition so it at least would have stood a chance against everything else? A big indicator is player reaction, and it seems to be a point of contention both here and the other places I've seen discussing the Vigilante.

If we're being accurate to the movie though, I'm watching DKR right now actually and that big BatUFO thing took out a Tumbler by leading a homing rocket into the side of it... so sh*t, it will be movie accurate to the back half of the Vigilante at least 🙃

Seems like it's more of a Halloween novelty vehicle more along the lines of the Franken Stange than an actual battle vehicle anyone is supposed to take seriously.

You can use the Vigilante during heists.

Flags:

FLAG_HAS_INCREASED_RAMMING_FORCE

FLAG_HAS_BULLETPROOF_GLASS

In freemode, it's limited to 30 rockets but not sure if its unlimited during heists/missions.

Wait how did I miss that?

This means that the car WILL have BP glasses??

Now it's a must-have for me.

Pretty sure that means it only has it during heists.

In free roam it'll still be useless.

I can't wait to use this in contact missions, it'll be fun and very useful. Only if you use the rockets wisely that is.

i'm trying not to have high expectations but i'm really hoping that the vigilante full body outfit will become available after you purchase the vehicle first.

Like after you've bought the supercar, on the bottom left of screen it will then say, "clothing unlocked, The Dark Suit" or "Dark Guardian outfit unlocked".

I am going to test it out in freemode. See how it fares. Hopefully it has its own version of FL.

Well I haven't touched heists for the money in a long time, but this will certainly spice things up.
