I feel like everyone I'll meet in GTAO will be rocking a muscle car looking Rapid GT while I'll be the only one looking like James Bond lol.

I went into the game and checked and it's definitely animated, but it is tied to the primary colour unlike the Tornado so it's harder to see. Here's a close-up. It's still REALLY hard to see due to the upload quality but ingame it's definitely visible.

 

 

I concede the point but it's so hard to see it might as well not be animated, it looks like they put the wrong texture on it. The Rat Rod and Frankenstrange have belts with writing on them that make it more obvious the belt is turning.

 

Even with the brightest body color it's barely visible and not even noticeable from typical camera distance, let alone with a darker body color. But you are right.

Meanwhile, I've gone through the Aston Martin back catalogue for what I'm doing with mine - just bought a 6-car place with one of my free property slots, and already shoved a Retinue and Pigalle in, to start off a nice like '70s Euro classics collection... :monocle:

Had to blow it up to full-screen, but if you look at the 'chevron' point at the front of the hood cutout, there's something turning just behind it.

Lol that video it doesn't look like it is moving either BUT now that I am on my PC I can see on Coopers video the lower pulley turning. I think you guys are right, it will be more visible in game.

Sped it up a little, with a little focus-zoom for the gif and you can see it moving on this one. I assume it's going to look better in game. Gif is a little jolty for some reason though.

I think the issue is that the upper pulley has no details at all.

It doesn't. The belt on the other cars was given extra detail to make it obvious it was moving, this one doesn't have that either by design or by oversight. This engine does seem to have some moving parts but the belt looks like its not even moving when you're in-game. To me, anyway. Maybe other people think its fine.

Can someone replicate this with LSC colors, please? Basically Galaxy Blue metallic with Galaxy Blue pearl and a tan interior, but check if it looks better with chrome lip black rims similar to pic-related or all chrome.

Rapid GT is out!

Why did it make sense to release a LSM vehicle first? They did that with GR. The Vagner came out first.
