Please explain! Does this work on consoles? I want Benny's rims on my normal cars!

Who doesn't? Rockstar should just make them available to all cars. I just don't get these devs. We've NEVER gotten new wheels in a DLC before.

Well, not quite. We got new rims for motorcycles with Bikers, and you can use the wheels on all/most motorcycles, including ones that we had before Bikers.

So I think there are two scenarios at play here, either they are saving them for a future "tuners" style update, OR what I think is more likely, is that they don't want every vehicle to have access to Benny's rims, simply so players are forced to buy the "upgraded" vehicles. For example, let's say I want Benny's rims on my normal Sabre Turbo, but I can't, so I have to upgrade it to the "Custom". So instead of spending 70k on a set of rims, you spend 1 mil on an upgrade to Custom.

That one looks so awesome! Love it!

To create the color, I have to create my own crew? Or what should I do to get that color?

If you're on PS4 I can make it my crew color so you can use it. But yeah, otherwise make your own crew. Only takes a few minutes

So the only way is to create a crew?

How many colors? Is there a limit?

Well, I'm talking about new wheels for cars, and by 'new wheels', I don't mean the Benny's ones, which are stupidly locked to specific cars.

Yes yes I understand, my point is that they could add more for cars if they wanted to, because they could clearly do it for the motorcycles.

I would've expected them to have added some by now - it's been 4 years. I mean, cars tend to be more popular than bikes in this game, so I don't know why they prioritise the bikes over the cars.

yes, you'll have to create a crew, you can only have one color attached to your crew at a time, but you can change it whenever you want, as many times as you want, and it won't overwrite crew colors you've already put on vehicles.

This thread has a pretty good tutorial on how to get custom colors that the selector normally doesn't let you use (you may have to add an additonal "AA" or "FF" to the end of you hex values though):

http://gtaforums.com/topic/782581-kustom-crew-color-requests/

This thread is a good source for some colors other users have created already (though again, some may need an additional "AA" at the end of the hex to get them to go through):

I think they will eventually in a dedicated update to car customization, much like Lowriders, but for a wider variety of vehicles. I really think they are holding out on that specific type of update until near the end of Online's updates. Would make for a good final big push for shark cards. That is just my theory though.

I would like to make a random request.

Torino Red, Blower hood with the straight out the hood exhaust. Dukes rims, black centers. Custom tires. Thanks.

It's a shame the belt on the supercharger isn't animated like the Frankenstrange and Rat Rod. It doesn't have the same texture and seems to be color coded to the primary body instead. Would be even better if it idled like those cars since they use the same engine models.

I asked in this thread if the belt moves and people said yes?

Wtf if the belt doesn't move that changes my opinion of the car a lot. Definitely only buying one.

Either my game is broken or my eyes are broken then because I don't see anything moving. I made a short video comparing it to the Rat Rod. (Not amazing quality but you can see the difference.)

I went into the game and checked and it's definitely animated, but it is tied to the primary colour unlike the Tornado so it's harder to see. Here's a close-up. It's still REALLY hard to see due to the upload quality but ingame it's definitely visible.

You can't make the livery matte so it's also metallic and just kind of hard to see.

looks daft with that supercharger sticking out from the bonnet, british cars don't do that.

rockstar are certainly taking their time to release this, maybe becomes theres such high demand to finally release a proper british classic.
