The car definitely has some Mustang looks in it but I don't know how you could say it's more Mustang than AM just because it has some Shelby-style racing stripes and a few accents. Details for the grille, front quarter panels and hood (and long nose) are taken extensively from the Interceptor. It's 90% british and 10% american. It lacks almost all of the major hallmarks of the Mustang, and they're really only similar if you don't actaully look at a picture of a classic Mustang.

Now compare that to a Shelby Mustang:

Grand tourer or muscle car I don't mind, lovely car and lovely photos!

BTW, can anyone recreate the V8 Vantage from The Living Daylights please?

First look at the car I immediately thought of a Shelby.. Gone in 60 seconds, look verrrrry similar.. can't wait to black it all out

Got to play with one today. It's very nice and drives very well.

Was playing with it online.

How?I'm a PC player and modders are part of our game. We get stuff spawned and play with them before anyone else.

I was playing with Duke Death 2 weeks before it was released.

Batmobile? Played with it already as if it was my own for hours.

Hunter? Same thing. Flew around and did missions other than its regular mission.

This Rapid is a very nice car.

Ok, thanks for telling me why. But how does the Rapid drive? Compared to the Turismo Classic.

Two completely different cars m8.How? Aren't those two in the same class? Or you mean that the Rapid is so slow, it can't even fare?

The handling is not as loose as Turismo classic. It feels sort of like a stirling to me. As far as speed goes...i dont know but it doesn't feel as fast as t classic.

I would think certain cars are slow and theyare fast and felt fast but slow.

Lets say you guys will like it.

Its a pretty car. I will buy one.

What class they are in means nothing. One is an 80's Supercar and the other is a 70's grand tourer.

You can just look at them and know the Turismo is going to be much faster than this car.

They are actually pretty close.

Top speeds are later in the videos.

Turismo Classic:

Lmao yup. It's like comparing an Aston Martin V8 Vantage to a LaFerrari... or a Rapid GT to a Turismo R...

I mean- does that make any sense?

I mean I get that it is GTA and performance...doesn't exactly match up with real world sometimes.

Every time I launch GTA with the intention of taking a screenshot I just end up modding up a new one of these. I can't tell if it's because this and the Retinue are the only two 'regular' cars in the new update or if this is just such a nice car.

Right. We're talking about gta not the real world. The question was legitimate and it turns out they are close in performance.

How does it look with white walls

Judge for yourself but IMO really bad with LSC and nice-ish with Benny's, though whitewalls were always more of an American thing and this just doesn't have enough mustang influence to really pull it off. The Mustang also never came with whitewalls that thick stock.
