The stealth Resupply missions.

Has anyone successfully completed the stealth missions on the yacht or on the large container ship as I find it basically impossible. Which results in me just massacring everyone. The problem being is that the ai are very easily alerted and are positioned in the way you need to go 99% of the time. I just want to see if anyone else has been successful and get give a few tips.

Nope. I just called in my Savage and obliterated everyone before landing and taking the supplies. That was before I realized that buying supplies and selling an IE car before they arrive was more efficient and had a better overall profit margin.

Yea it makes sense using a savage or hydra as it greatly speeds everything. But im not really bothered about the most efficient and best money making method anymore I've been playing the game since release and honestly like too switch up my methods and try and something different now and then.

I stopped doing resupply missions before I completed one of those successfully. Landing my helicopter always seemed to tip them off. The last time I noticed a (yellow?) box on the mini map around the container ship. I think this was the area where any loud noise would tip them off, and if so, it was much larger than i had expected. If I was to do it again I'd try landing outside of that area and being stealthy from there.

- Yacht: Hydra and kill everyone, land on the yacht and collect the supplies. 6 minutes

- Cargo ship: Hydra and kill the enemies where is the supply and collect the supplies with the Hydra. 5 minutes

- Banning: Oppressor (as favourite bike): just go where are the supplies with the bike and fly away. 5 minutes.

I've stealthed the Banning location. Most of the time I alert someone and end up blasting away though.

If everyone in sight dies in a cascade of huge explosions that happen so fast that no one is left alive to call for help, then it's totally stealth

Neither. And Stealth stuff is my favourite playmode. Wish they had more of it and did it right.

GTA Online doesn't do stealth very well, so you're better going in loud. It's faster and easier.

I did full stealth on yacht. But it makes no difference. Helicopters will still chace you after you'll grab supplies.

I really enjoy playing stealthily in games, but it is so unpolished here. If they fixed things like them psychically knowing it's you if they find bodies and instantly being alerted if you don't kill them with a headshot then it would actually be viable.

 

To further improve it enemies could search for you if they find a body, and if they do spot you then you should have to kill them before they make any noise.

This is why I dont bother, I go in hot and heavy , get in, get out, no fuss no muss.

Yacht: fly to front shoot all guys in front includding helis. Land on front. Go into the bottom level cabin...the one with windows on top of it. Thats where I land the buzzard. Walk in collect supplies, get in buzzard. Average 6 min.

 

Banning cargo ship. Land on highest point of ship with buzzard. Climb down ladder. Collect supplies, kill guy next to supplies. Climb ladder, enter buzzard. Fly back. If buzzard damgaged, call hydra, land on hospital. Kill heli guys, fly back. Average 6 min.

It's as rigged as some the I/E 'stealth' where it is legit impossible to do solo.

 

The yacht is hard as f*ck

I've tried to stealth the yacht, was able to kill the men in the engine room on the quiet yet as I tried sneaking up the stairs to the next level I was somehow spotted immediately.

 

I like stealth mechanics but this game butchers it.

Why is nobody really talking about the glider having stealth capability?

Stealth in this game sucks ass. If you shoot a guy in the body with a silenced pistol instead of their head, every single NPC will suddenly know there's an intruder and screech at you with helicopters that spawn in the middle of the air.

Wow, wow. It's possible and kinda easy. Atleast it was easy for me.
