Those of you who know me know that I'm usually at the forefront of any such charge. I'll admit that the 60 spaces made available with the office garages shut me up...but only for awhile. With the Gunrunning update I was starting to feel the pressure of limited space again, and now that another update is upon us, I'm starting to sweat. There are two cars we know about so far, the Escort-type car spotted in the trailer and the new Grotti that Rockstar has teased a photo of. I'm interested in both those cars, but my storage is full. It's going to be very difficult for me to select two cars I already have to make way for them. Now, some of the common counter-arguments to more garrage space are: 1. "You don't need that many cars!" First of all, I'm not saying I "need" anything; I acknowledge this is just a "want". Anyway, those of you who say this, what you're really saying is, "I've determined what the optimal number of cars to own is, and I feel that my personal opinion must be applied to everyone else so that everyone can be the same as me." Well we're not all the same as you. Some people want fewer cars; some people want more cars. We're not all the same, so get over yourself. Someone else wanting a different number of cars than you doesn't make them a bad person, and it doesn't make them wrong and you right. 2. "You can't drive that many cars!" or "You only drive two or three cars anyway!" Who said it's about driving them all? Some of us like to COLLECT them. Maybe you don't understand collecting cars, but so what? Just because it's not your thing doesn't mean it can't be someone else's thing. Again, we're not all the same. But for the record, I have driven all 130 of my vehicles, and I continue to do so. Some of them more than others, but they do all get driven. 3. "Get a second character, or another account!" Sorry, no. When I say I want more garrage space, I mean for a single character. Having other cars stored on my second character or on other accounts mean I don't have instant access to them like I would if they were on one character. What if I'm on my character with my collectible cars and I see some douchebag griefer ruining the fun for everyone else in the session, and I want to do something about it? But all my war vehicles are on another character so I can't get to them, and if I switch characters, I'll end up in some other random lobby. The point is that yes, having a second character and multiple accounts does increase the total number of vehicles you as a real person can store. But when I say I want more garrage space, I'm not talking about for me, I'm talking about for my character. And I'll go ahead and point out the money side of it: Having more garrage spaces means more money for Rockstar. First you have to buy the garages, then you have to buy the cars to fill them with, then you have to buy the upgrades for those cars. And at least some of the people doing that will buy Shark Cards to be able to afford it all, and that, of course, is good for Rockstar. So...there you go. There's my argument for more garrage space. Like I said, I'm usually leading the charge for more garrage space. I haven't seen those two threads you mentioned. Day one car collectors need some love too. If ppl dont need any garage space then don't buy it. Shouldnt hold back those of us who could use a lil extra space, especially for cunning stunts 3 dropping later this fall. Not to mention the dripfeed. If people don't want it, they don't need to buy it. That's what's always confused me about people who argue AGAINST more garrage space.
