Vanishing ammo

A few times I've had my special ammo completely emptied when loading into the game. But today while playing the game the ammo of both my grenade launchers suddenly vanished. Has anyone else seen this?

Happened to me a few times too. It mostly happens when i play new Adversary modes.

That is the reason.I lose ammo everytime when I played gtao.Then I stopped using gun locker and I don't have problems with ammo anymore.

My sniper rifle ammo has disappeared twice now.

I rebought it all once. Now it's gone again. Not sure what to do.

Seems like something that should obviously be corrected at some point without me complaining about it. It's a widespread problem, right?

I've reported it to rockstar. They might get around to fixing it some time. It's an annoyance more than anything. The amount of money to rebuy it all is trivial.

It's a definite bug. I've had my SMG ammo drop down to zero several times since the gunrunning update.

A good tip is to buy less than 2000 rounds so that you can still pickup NPC ammo lying on the ground. Let Rockstar pay for it.

 

The grenade launcher is another matter - it uses a clip of 10 grenades, and when you die while holding it you will lose the entire clip - up to ten grenades/rounds!

Ya that has been happening off and on to me for months, lost 70k worth of sniper ammo a few times. Once it even deleted my homing launcher. the money doesn't bother me but it's really annoying when you pull out your rifle and spending several seconds wondering why it's not firing.

Assuming you have a weapon locker:

1) Fill the ammo for the weapon.

2) Change outfits to force a cloud save.

3) Go to the locker and put the weapon away (hide).

4) Change outfits to force a cloud save.

5) Change to a new session.

6) Retrieve weapon (show) from the locker.

7) Change outfits to force a cloud save. The ammo should no longer disappear.

Every time I start a new session all my MKII upgraded weapons are reset to zero ammo, it's super annoying. I submitted a ticket to Rockstar Support about this though and after I sent them screenshots and video, they credited my account with $235k so that was nice. But I really hope they fix this bug.
