Gun running & Smugglers run

I've not completed gun running (as in all the research) but this new update came quick (for me anyway), so

 

1. I've unlocked 10 items in gun running but when I go into the vehicle workshop I can't do anything, do I need a special vehicle to apply these mods to?

2. When could I use the MOC (Mobile operations centre)? Could I use it for general missions where applicable?

3. Inside the MOC I have the option to select my guns and " upgrade" then. If I do this what benefit do I receive? Is it a one off upgrade or a permanent one - as in if I upgrade then I have these survival guns for xx bullet rounds before it defaults back to normal.

4. The new update coming out (Smugglers run), does anyone know if I need any particular vehicles or weapons beforehand?

5. I don't have a plane yet so I guess I could still play smugglers run and purchase one with the money earned through those missions?

6. A few times I have been in a public session where all of a sudden everyone leaves, leaving me in a solo session. Is this ok to continue my business as normal?

the general rule is don't buy anything if a new update is coming out

 

however, all the mk2 weapons are a permanent noticible improvement

 

solo public is the only place i do missions

1. You need vehicle workshop installed in your MOC.

2. Only in Free Roam.

3. You can see their stats when upgrading. It's not permanent, you can return your previous gun at the same spot.

4. Most likely you'll need air vehicles.

5. I don't know???

- 4 and 5: I don't think you need a plane or helicopter beforehand... Probably the air vehicle is provided for the mission, just like the bunker missions provides you the vehicle(s) you need for that particular mission. If you do want to buy an air vehicle, go for the buzzard if you don't already have one. Perfect vehicle for fast transport in freeroam, missions, supply missions etc.

- 6: when 'everybody leaves' it means there was a short interruption of YOUR internet connection. You can continue your stuff if you don't mind being alone in a session. Actually, it makes things a lot easier since others cannot interfere with you sellings etc.

The hangar comes with a Free Cuban 800 OP, if you have any previous aircraft from Pegasus you may store them there and they will convert into Personal vehicles. You can only buy the new aircraft if you purchased a hangar sadly.

 

You are provided with planes and helicopters on each Source Mission you select but I still recommend using some of the older ones already owned or any new aircraft you personalized and upgrade for better security
