Chibchakun
I re-downloaded GTA V today and noticed how I am still able to see jagged edges, especially when I'm walking or in motion. I have the graphics set to very high and anti-aliasing on MSAA X4, along with MSAA Reflection Quality, also set to X4. I also have Nvidia TXAA on and FXAA also on. I also use V-Sync to play at 60 fps. All my Nvidia control panel settings are set to default. So, is it just normal to see jagged edges, for example, at a far distance, especially in motion? I usually don't see them up close, because i have a Anisotropic Filtering set to X16. I'm playing at 1440p. My Specs are:-1080 TI SC2 Graphics Card -i7 7700K Processor @ 4.2 Ghz-Cryorig H7 Cpu Cooler-MS278Q 2560x1440p Monitor 144hz -Z170X Gaming 5 Motherboard -Corsair 200R Midtower PC Case So, is it my hardware or is that the way the game is supposed to be? I recently changed my GPU, CPU, and monitor, and still see jagged edges, but less than before I changed them (Previously had an RX 480 8GB, VS238H-P Monitor, and i5 6500 Processor. T-ru
This's the game problem, there is a ton of jagged (pixelated) edges especially on the surfaces like the shadows and the road markings in the not so far distance and seems like the AA options doesn't influence them. In Nvidia Control panel make sure that Texture Filtering - Anisotropic Sample Optimization is off, Texture Filtering - Negative LOD Bias is Clamp, Texture Filtering - Quality is Quality, Anisotropic Filtering set to X16 and in the game too, Antialiasing - Mode is Application-Controlled In the game use only MSAA X8 for now this's the best choice, the others AA (fxaa and txaa) make everything blurred and the jagged edges remain.
