Hiddenshadow Posted August 26, 2017 Share Posted August 26, 2017 I wasn't a fan of the look of the engine placement and size, but knowing that this is a VTOL aircraft does make it much more interesting than the first impression suggested. In a game where the aircraft don't have proper flaps/spoilers and the engine stalls when you slow down, vertical landing capability is a big advantage for anything off-strip. The one sitting right to you doing nothing else but.... countermeasures. A bit disappointing. Edit: Apparently you can choose pilot vs co-pilot for bombing and countermeasures via the interaction menu. For me and a friend it did not change anything in the Tula. The JATO option is great from a standing-start, but only works when A) You're on land/water and B) the wings are horizontal. When hovering you are very vulnerable as it doesn't have the transition speed of the Hydra or anywhere close to its acceleration. On the other hand maybe even in the future you might only be able to choose between either bombs or countermeasures if you are flying alone. Again: Have a co-pilot. He can use countermeasures. Edit: Interaction menu settings for bombing and countermeasures are working fine with the Rogue. Maybe they really overdid it with the options and gimmicks on the Tula and there is no button left on gamepads. For keyboards there should be a workaround somehow, sometime.
