P-45 Nokota

Based on the North American P-51D Mustang, the P-45 Nokota is a single-seat, propeller-driven, WW2 fighter plane. It can be customized with a variety of war liveries, drop tanks, and rocket tubes. Just like its real-life counterpart, the vintage fighter comes armed with forward-facing machine guns (three on each wing).

So fire her up, make for the border, and do the old man proud."

When it drops? A poor choice of words

The model looks beautiful. Astounding attention to detail. I'm pumped for this plane, hopefully it sounds just as good as it did in the trailer.

I'm surprised by how closely it resembles the P-51D Mustang, only major difference I see so far is the canopy. Still has that bubble shape, but with a lot more framework.

I saw a Mustang a while ago and it sounded absolutely fantastic with the distinct whistle and that Merlin V12. I'm hoping the Rustler sounds at least half as good.

I think I'll like this plane (I liked the Rustler in GTA SA).I'll go play SA and fly it to prepare for the Online version.

I suppose this will be one of the very few vehicles that don't look god-awful in Chrome.

Lucky. I've only ever seen a few herks and spitfires. I could imagine the sounds though. Hope they add new sounds effects for all the new aircraft.

This is definitely the plane I am most hyped for. I love the look of it and the name 'Rustler' fits it well.

Beautiful, beautiful plane. A real classic too, you know? Had a great time with it in San Andreas.

There seems to be so little hype for this, for me this is the vehicle I'm looking forward to most from this update.

I'd honestly be really surprised if they didn't call it the Rustler. I'd still call it the Rustler if it was given a new name. The mods could always change the thread title anyway.

Yeah, I'm still calling it the Rustler. "Nokota" just doesn't seem fitting to me.

I don't mind it being called a Nokia though.

Nice, I've spotted the livery I will be using. UMKezpH.png

Based on the North American P-51D Mustang, the Rustler finally returns. First featured, way back in 2004, in the game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

The aircraft is a single seat propeller fighter plane that is shown throughout the trailer sporting a variety of liveries and body modification, such as fuel drop tanks and rocket pods. The plane, just like in real life and featured in the last game, is armed with forward-facing machine guns (three on each wing).

Wanted mustang, got spitfire

It's not rustler but it'll do

The Nokota is a Spitfire, what?

It's pretty much pure P-51D Mustang. Only Spitfire part this thing should have is a license built Rolls-Royce engine. I suppose that'd be an Enus engine in-game.

Happy Hunter

My first proper dogfight with it. Just a stock version that came with a source mission. I was ambushed by a more maneuverable plane, what I guessed to be a Rogue.
