Am I the only one excited for this two-seater trainer/close air support aircraft? I hope that rockstar get the turboprop part right though, also judging from the cover art of the update, this aircraft will have the option to arm bombs and rockets.

 

I also hope that we would have the option to fit these kind of liveries!

 

I will update this thread when more information arrives.

I think it's going to be a fun thing to fly, with room for a passenger! That's a definite plus.

 

Curious to see how it will perform against the MiG-15 and the Rustler.

Yeah it's bad enough having the Velum with a farty piston engine sound. If this sounds the same then I'll not be buying it.

If this sounds the same then I'll not be buying it.That has always killed me on both the Titan and the Velum,you can look at the stacks and see they are turboprops. Rstar probably did this so avaiation noobs wouldn't butch about a prop making "jet sounds" lol

As a Brazilian, you guys have no idea how proud I am of seeing an Brazilian Embraer aircraft made into the game!

 

Also, to anyone expecting this to be a good dogfighter, trust me, it won't.

 

This airplane is designed to attack artillery and infantry troops, as well as intercept lighter smuggling airplanes that flies around my country's borders.

 

Don't expect this to fight a Hydra and a Lazer on equal terms...But you can be sure that I'm trying it every time!

That's just in reality though. I mean, we have a Hind that's no stronger than a Little Bird; an APC that's twice as strong as a big tank. I wouldn't be surprised if this is unrealistically agile or fast.

 

Looks great anyway. I hope I can get all the aircraft in this DLC.

Can someone tell if you can operate all the weapon/bomb/countermesure alone? or if you need a co-pilot for it? thanks! (Or may the copilot can use the bomb like the copilote use the rocket pod in the buzzard/savage?)

Yes you can operate all of the stuffs on your own, and there's an option to let the co-pilot operate the bombs and countermeasures in the interaction menu vehicles section

So I had to pay the proper respect to this beauty and make it the closest as possible to the ones use by the Força Aérea Brasileira(FAB)

 

Bombing sessions with this thing is FUN!!!

It's quite agile, but simply too slow to compete with jets. It has explosive cannons, but it's much weaker than the ones found on the two old jets.

It has a maneuverability comparable of the Lazer, but lacks speed to turn the game around.

 

If you find yourself having to dogfight against a Lazer, my suggestion is to fly to Downtown LS and use the skyscrapers to elude the jet.

 

You have about 50 flares, so make sure to use them and don't fear the sound of missiles lock-on, but be very careful to not let it come close to you or you willike be hit by explosive cannons.

 

Also, this thing has insane armor, I crashed head on against a crane and it didn't blow up!

Nope, but whenever it's around, expect a shot ton of explosions around from the bombs
