When a DLC comes out how soon do you buy the items?

As the title says, how soon do you start purchasing the items? I personally wait a few hours and read what people are saying on the forum before deciding. I don't want to get stuck with a vehicle or an item that I can't get refunded. For example, I didn't bother getting the caddy for the bunker since I knew I can drive my motorcycle around instead.

I wait for reviews on things I'm undecided on, but things I want, e.g. the Rustler, Hunter and that new stunt plane, will be an instant purchase.

I always buy anything right away because i've enough to last a lifetime. Then i try out everything, stop playing GTA again for a couple of weeks/month until next update. Do the account thingy for another 2 weeks of PS+ and repeat the whole thing again. Can't play GTA:O for long before getting bored. Not by the content, but because its just so damn over the top arcadey and pvp based. I still like playing contact missions most while driving in my Ruiner 'based on my IRL car' Or the Entity, because i love Koenigseggs. And both of them have decent damage deformation when no armor is installed.

Some things I buy immediately (mostly clothing-related). When it comes to big-ticket overhead items (offices, warehouses, bunkers, clubhouses) I consider locations and prices and (if applicable) reviews from others before purchasing.

 

Sometimes there are certain vehicles that I want, no matter how "not-awesome" they turn out to be. The Halftrack and Valkyrie were some recent examples of that, but I wanted one for looks and kicks, even it it was going to be a paperweight. The upcoming DLC has a few aircraft I'm already putting on my SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY list. The Hunter is not one of them, but I may eventually buy one if the reviews are stellar and the price is right.

 

For dual-priced items (Special Vehicles and Armed Vehicles), I always unlock the lower price before buying.

Depends - for the most part, I ...just don't buy anything these days. Don't want to be stuck with a bunker/office/whatever nonsense I can't sell or ditch later on, so I simply don't bother. And since that applies to maybe 90% of the stuff added for over a year, now, I've been sitting on the same $7 million for a looong time...

On the other hand, on the rare occasions R* puts out something I like? Insta-buy. I love how the Elegy Retro drives, but even if it handled like a shopping trolley full of angry cats, I'd still have bought it without hesitation, simply because it looks absolutely spot-on.

I'll wait for the reviews and sometimes it depends. Mostly, I refuse to buy it asap. I've made my mistakes doing that. Now I sometimes hold or grow my GTA$ further until a sale goes on.

 

Now if it's a car that I favor in real life that comes into the game like a 488 GTB, a McLaren 570S or a Porsche Cayman for example, I would give in easily.

When it comes to cars, it highly depends on the type of car. New super car? I can wait. New sports classic or muscle car? I'll likely buy it right away!
