I love how Rockstar release a trailer for an update that gets the overwhelming majority of the community hyped and manage to get us to praise them, then pull this sh*tty stunt and turn PC into an even bigger clusterf*ck than it already is. I see that I'm not the only one who thinks this is not a coincidence, as a money wipe before a major DLC will undoubtedly make microtransactions enticing.

You just admitted to having money dropped on you so I don't see the problem. Some of us actually worked for it only to have it removed for no reason. And if you have money dropped on you, you can write a ticket or just ignore it till it gets wiped.

Hey I just had a thought... remember the thread about "Rockstar gonna find a way to shut down solo sales"... well, I've probably done like 10 million in vehicle sales out of my warehouse while playing in a solo online lobby. I can't stand the hackers, because look at what happens - they either ruin my fun, or they're "nice hackers" and dump money on my head... which later causes me grief too, from Rockstar this time.

 

But maybe this is because of all of my taking advantage of lagging myself out so I can play solo? Maybe that's why they are taking money away from everybody? I think the survey might need another question added to it, about whether we often play in solo lobbies.

The only reason I didn't uninstall the game yet is because this is so ridiculous that there might be a slight chance Rockstar admits they phucked up bigtime and issues some remedy to all of us.

 

Of course, I'm definitely not playing this game anymore, Rockstar don't deserve my business and quite apparently they do not want mine either. But no uninstall. Not yet. If a few weeks go by, then yeah, it's buh-bye now.

You know whats funny? Last time I did that (before Gun Running mind you) they just told me to bank it and take no further action. Then got removed with Gun Running about 3 months later. Why even bother if they won't do sh*t about it or just remove any money anyway. I should get someone to drop a few millions on me that I can invest in supercar bonds at this point.

Didn't happen to me (yet...?), or even anyone I personally play with (that I know of.... yet),but it's safe to say R* is now probably getting added to the list of companies who deserve to have their games pirated.

I had 1.3 mill removed when I logged in earlier (to begin preparing for the new update) and found I was left with just under 50k. All I have been doing is selling supplies (eg crates and weapons via CEO), selling cars via import/export, selling the occasional Simeon vehicle and also selling NPC Felons/Ballers (that you can only sell to LSC once every in-game day). I've reported it to RS but can already imagine the response.

 

I also had over 2m removed over 2 months ago, again I was doing things legit as above but the day before the removal I had an encounter with a modder where my pc "magically" crashed after calling out said modder, I logged back in the next day and found I was left with 20k.

 

I can't help but notice both occurrences have happened before the next update has been released.

1st login - everything is fine, did some bunkersales and I/E stuff to stock up my cash to be prepared for Tuesday.

 

Went offline - dinner time

 

2nd login - -5.4 mil.

Ticket already sent and waiting for refund. Can't get behind that number, tbh. Since this Force menu crap I stayed away from public lobbies, joined crew/friendsessions or lonewolfed. There was no situation which could explain this 5mil drain (won't fit in 2xbunker or actual I/E sales). My last wipe was reported by myself to R* (RP & $ while in loadingscreen after heistfinal) and was corrected within 24h. After that I saw some cheaters yes, but I always had an eagleeye on my wallet - just in case. No cash was dropped or whatever.

 

Really, this is some random sh*t like the false bans we had a while ago. It will turn out for good, hopefully.

Rockstar probably assumes that you've made the money via mods. Tell them that's legit, and they'll give you it back. Kinda kudos to them for taking it from modders. f*ck modders.

Haven't had my money wiped, not yet at least. Last I checked was earlier today, been grinding on PS4 for the whole day.

 

There's literally no possible way I could be wiped on PC. My playstyle is "no PVP whatsoever" (that means keeping a 0 player kills and 0 player deaths in stats) so I avoid public lobbies and missions like a plague, never had modded money dropped on me, and never glitched a single dollar. Earned about a million from double$ I/E sales for what it's worth.

 

On PS4 I haven't glitched ever (hell, I even plainly said no under various excuses to the director mode money glitch every time it was brought to my attention), but back in the X360 days I did glitch a bit and also had modded money dropped on me which wasn't a lot anyway. Made about 4 million from double$ I/E sales so far here.

 

btw the "No it hasn't" option in the poll is useless considering that the other questions are for players that have been wiped and the platforms don't have multiple selection.
