I can confirm that solo I/E work cannot be a cause for the moneywipe.

By the time it happened, at least 90% of my money (around 24 millions) had been earned in that way, yet I ironically only lost a single million and half.

If anything, we know for a fact that all the cash earned in that way does not get detected as illegaly earned (and rightfully so), making it a safe way to grind for the upcoming updates.

Uhm, no. I said you get your money wiped, if you abuse things. Lagging out here and there is not abusing. Lagging out all the time and farming I/E (etc) >solo< is though. And thats what the people who were caught were doing (that or they received modded money/used glitches in the past).

Never once had them spawn. La Puerta warehouse, get the Bob above MBT height, not seen a single spawn on the map.

If I understand correctly, after almost 4 months and 82 pages of this topic, no one has returned their money and R* did not suffer any punishment for their slovenliness ?

And so do not give a damn about anything, that literally for 1 day, the ratings of the game soared to 90%, it's just not conceivable, given their attitude to the players and disgusting anti-cheating.

I actually reinstalled the game and spent around 15m or so on the doomsday stuff. Time to wait for the next money glitch that works on pc. The game itself is still fun, but c* is just useless. f*ck playing legit at this point. No more grinding.

A friend if mine sent a screen shot from a guy who got money removed from his account, not only did they remove his money but the actually set it to so much -(negative balance) that the account will be more or less forever useless..

 

He thought it was a modded account and this was on ps4, I have no proof other than his word. I have the screen shot but not sure if legit or not

Siiiiiiiiigh. I'll just explain it again. That was his pc character, and as you know, cheating on pc is riduculously easy. A couple months ago cheaters could directly add money to your bank. You could do nothing against it. He contacted the support and asked them to remove the money. They didn't.

 

Also, c* does suck, but the racing in gtao is still fun to him. So that's why he keeps making videos about it. Also, he commited to his car testing videos, and he's not gonna cancel his testing now.

A guy modded his account for him back in the day so he could afford to buy the cars for testing, he talked about it on one of his early videos way back on old gen. Did it as a favor rather than Broughy asking. I'm quite surprised they went deliberately to his account to wipe it now though, because imho there's been no wipe to any other of the 80 million accounts this month.

Some people can't help being ignorant. They are so far up R*'s buttocks that it's too dark to see the catch 22 when they say you are at fault no matter what. Play in "solo public" sessions and it is your fault if you lose most of your money due to R*'s barely functional anti-cheat. Play in "public public" session and get gifted money from modmenu users and it is your fault again when you get banned even when you alerted the support about the problem. Be a helpful youtuber pointing out problems concerning GTA and... somehow it is your fault again that R* bans even your two accounts that did not have any associated infractions.
