Since GR I've been unable to use custom plates, even using the ifruit app.

 

Unless there's a limit, I have 20, maybe more cars with my custom 'Fox' plates.

I gotta admit, it's so... freeing to use modded money, no more fretting about weeks of grinding to afford one thing, I can just pick the money up and woosh! Instead of grinding, I left freemode for once and played some other gamemodes, motor wars was fun

I got mine back. Put an order in on my phone, launched GTAO. Drove car into LSC...nothing...

Did the order again WHILE online. Got a car with custom plates.

Got older cars, ta-da, able to apply custom plates again.

And in addition, I'd rather get modded money, buy the planes I want, and risk a reset versus grinding for a whole f*cking month just to get my awesome Bombushka. Today I just started a new job, so all of my "grinding time" is now devoted to that.

Yep! I have the Division, Wildlands, LEGO Worlds, and I wanna get Forza Horizon 3 or something similar soon, so I can see myself eventually dropping GTA.... and if they reset me, well, I guess it will make dropping the game easier.

 

I hope it doesn't happen, but I guess I'm prepared for it. If I do keep it installed, I was gonna steal a tornado, buy the free DoD, and this little garage to keep them both in. That way, I could join and help my friends if they ask. But that would be about it....

Just curious - do you play on your own when you've done this? If not, how would it work if you've set it so that the Carbine Rifle does 500 damage per shot and the Hydra has a thrust value of 20, how would other players see it/ experience it?

 

And yeah this money wipe not being sorted is shocking - I had more faith in them to be fair, but it looks like I may have to take a more pessimistic approach in the future.

 

No, you can play with other people. The game pairs people based on code within an RPF. Metadata of sorts.

I'm starting to hate that stupid "Taunt Screen". It's as if R* is tellnig us: "You cheated and here's your burn mark for it. Suck it."

 

It's like when you entered a cheat code in GTA SA and forwards and you'd get the warning that a cheat was active every time you went to ssave (even if it was just a mere spawn car cheat) and it that message would taint your save file forever.

^ No they show that screen because you got whiped in the past. They whiped actuall illegal money of my char before gunrunning (took them long enough) and that message stayed for about 6 weeks.

 

Their splashscreen system seems a bit broken since they regulary inform me that the sultan rs and the banshee 900r are new at benny original motorworks.

btw. I managed to get a "human" reply (from 2 different people no less) by filing a simple question under SC issue the other day.

 

After that I mentioned the money issue and Sly the champ got back on it with the same reply and "closed".

 

So this time I am trying it under Bug Report with something else that annoys me as "bait" to get a human reply.
