I have not contacted support regarding the money they had taken from me. I logged in earlier this morning and after playing a while I was surprised R* had deposited 500K into my account, single player and Online.

Never the less I am still wary that R* will take in game money from me in the future and that I will probably buy only one of their products when they are discounted.

You'll get 500k for Franklin in SP everytime you play a new game.

You won't get money for online.

 

On PC it was a pre-order bonus. 1 mil for online (one off) and 500k for Franklin in SP, everytime you start a new game.

At this point I dont think rockstar will be giving our money back or at least telling us the reason they took it.

 

Because of this, me and my friends (5 of them) completely quit playing GTA since their took our money, the only fun that we had while playing GTA was grinding and we cant do that anymore because we cant be sure that rockstar wont do this again.

 

Since they took 26 mil out of my 115, I will spend the rest of the money buying new vehicles in the future, drive around for a few minutes and close the game until my money is completely spent, is the only thing left to do.

 

Maybe we will be able to enjoy the new races but nobody knows when they will release it.

First, I'd like to say I feel bad for everyone affected by this bullsh*t.

 

My main point: I have this strange habit of not playing a game until it's near the end of its life cycle. I don't plan it this way, it just happens.

 

I have learned something by watching games die. Towards the end, and especially if they have a new title about to drop, the games' parent company will double down on getting every last nickel out of the playerbase. Allods Online did this. So did RoM. Tera Online is doing it now, so is DCUO.

 

With RDR2 coming around the corner, I can't help but wonder if we're on the downhill slope with GTAO.

Well I got my money back and then some without the help of R*. I'm also sitting enough Vehicle stocks to cover me for any other wipes that might occur. I don't give a f*ck what R* do from here on in.
