@R* - this new Ticket game is somewhat boring,

also: why are you trying to sell me a vehicle that was included in the base game and I already paid for twice (PS3+PC) another time? (I am talking about the Lazer.)

 

 

Keep your Ticket(s) going, one at a time, no need to be rude

Got my response after 3 days, from Raymond R. Still no money.

Like I can play at peace knowing my effort and time was just taken like that. I don't really care about the ban right now. Time to send another ticket!

 

They didn't send the email notifying me of the reply either. Luckily I check the Support site frequently.

I sent my third ticket, this time with a lengthy opinion rant and my math. I'm almost certain I'll get another copy paste though.

Don't you hate it when you send something and immediately notice a typo?

Since the legit money wipe started R* Support had:

Did you read the comments? A guy says the number doesn't work. However this could help some people here at least in the UK apparently, as he said he asked support to call in a ticket.

 

Has anyone here tried asking to be called?

My 5th ticket and they've just tagged it under:

 

"GRAND THEFT AUTO ONLINE - PC - ECONOMY COORECTION"

 

Still no answer to it, but I think they're losing their damn minds.

I haven't been on GTA for about 2 days, logged in today to see if any of my money had been returned. Of course it hadn't, just as I expected. I've really lost all hope of getting refunded at this point, I mean it's been almost two weeks now and there is still basically nothing that's been done and Rockstar are still almost totally ignoring it. Plus it all seems to have died down a lot over the past few days.

My next ticket was closed, but this time I got an email notification. So I replied to that email. We'll see.

 

Maybe they're turning their systems back to normal, this is the first time that I have received a notification to a ticket, since this all started.

I got that one. But they didn't check it. If they did they'd see that I got my money legitimately.

I keep telling them: I have not been playing with strangers since I got a UFO tossed at my head 3 years ago. That was even before cheaters started dropping money everywhere. No one dropped money on me.

So they say they 'check' accounts, but what they're really doing is grab coffee and talk to colleagues about what a nice job they have, telling off customers.

 

I doubt anyone at R* even knows the definition of 'support'.

Can I ask, the ban threat responses all make the same assumptive statement that you the user have taken part in activity that breaches or breaks their EULA or COC, they are out and out making accusations that you have taken part in something you are not supposed to and that they have in effect punished you for this activity, has anyone who has gotten one of these responses actually asked Rcokstar to provide solid hard evidence of the breach that they have judge, juried and executed you over?

I have, repeatedly. They just ignore it and spam the same prewritten responses. My last ticket got the exact same response twice. Its like talking to a wall. 7 tickets closed, all with the same bs and lies. I quess thats it then, no point in playing anymore. Legitimate progress can be arbitrarily wiped at any time, and “support” waves you off with a middle finger. Why bother.

The JOKE is that the loading screen you get reads 'something OUT OF YOUR CONTROL has happened to your account and we have taken measures to fix it'

The whole banning if you continue to breach EULA is one of 3 or 4 generic replies you can get.

 

R* will also not provide you with evidence because it is simple... they don't have any.

Their algorithm flags the account for x amount of money and even R* don't have a clue as to where exactly it came from, but if their algorithm reads beep boop bop. They are like omg, better wipe 32mil off this guy, he has maybe a NICKEL of money we cannot account for.

I've given up on Rockstar support. You'll never get through to them hitting them head on. You must flank a company like this or hit them from behind. I currently have a real Steam support employee investigating the situation. I'm still waiting for a response after submitting my problem in detail with screenshots. I also purchased another game on my account, just to show them I'm a loyal customer. I'll give them some time to figure it out and let you know how this pans out.

Anyone else affected by this suddenly getting alot of targeted 'just for you' sales?

 

I had the 15% cheaper shark cards an 40% more on your shark card when this happened.

 

Now I am getting 'just for you' 25% off stilt homes and even an in game email giving me 25% off a Tyrus.

 

I already own a Tyrus and used to own a stilt home (sold it, dont like them), so the deals are useless.

How did you manage that? I figured Steam wouldn't be interested in this since they wouldn't be able to help anyway.

Hmm, I'm going to try this as well. At least Steam would be able to contact R* directly.

 

Edit: Can't find an email address for the life of me. Did you call them?

A pity that you're giving up, although it's understandable. I'd spare myself the frustration and wouldn't bother with it either if I wasn't such an overzealous justice seeker.

So the Ticket I replied to yesterday, was auto-closed the instant it arrived in their support system. It shows up fine in the support history, but it did not reopen the Ticket,maybe for a split second.

To put it mildly, I am quite annoyed.

 

Also for anyone new or if you couldn't keep up with the thread:

 

Your Ticket will get one of the two replies:

 

1.Your shared bank account bla bla bla check this link

2.We checked your account bla bla bla further violations may result in temporary or permanent bans from GTA Online

 

If you get a different reply, they either screwed up or it could be interesting. So far all replies that were not the two above, were simply mistakes by support. (Oh damn, I forgot that they don't make mistakes)

 

So on to the next Ticket...

Damn. This is horrible. I'd be absolutely livid if I got wiped twice.

 

I guess all of us should hold of doing anything in GTA:O until we get an answer from Rockstar, at least not anything substantial like grinding, now that we know it's possible to get hit multiple times.

 

In the meantime, could we persuade you to play a new game, "Support Ticket Sending Simulator 2017"? The least we can do is pester the living daylights out of them until we get an answer from these jerks.

I have had money wiped twice, over 2m before the Gunrunning update and 1.3m before Smugglers Run, all made from I/E and CEO warehouses.. I've logged numerous tickets and got the same copy/paste responses. I'm not wasting time putting in the work only for them to take it back off me and label me a cheater.. f*ck that.

I've given up with the game and GTA as a series altogether (been a fan since first playing the OG GTA back in '98.. GG Cockstar).

Yeah '97/'98: Fallout, GTA, Diablo,Quake 2, Fallout 2 and Half-Life. The good old times and I am getting too old for this sh*t.
