Thanks for forcing me to login... I does not feel good (I join an Invite Only Lobby and do some tests, because making money is pointless)

 

one more thing that I don't get, no connection to the money wipe, Off-Topic:

 

When you're in first person and you open the bomb bay, the HUD disappears (at least in the Rogue). We have a working CCIP Gun Cross for all our weaponized air vehicles, why didn't they implement a CCIP Bomb Reticle. It's just impossible to hit anything on purpose. So I thought, go back to old school tactics = DIVEBOMB - and it does not work, because you cannot release the payload once you reach a certain angle.

 

If you don't know what I'm talking about: CCIP = Constantly Computed Impact Point , just Google: air to ground HUD and look through the pictures

It is now more than one week since they took my money and they could not even bring themselves to have a human answer anything, either publicly or ticketwise. From here it looks like Rockstar's "support" is nothing but bots and one single guy answering tickets with something along the lines of "Sorry, can't help you.", and that guy must have one hell of a backlog after this whole disaster.

The fact some people are getting their money back means there WAS a mistake made. For a company that's made a billion dollars from GTA, it's very poor form there has been no communication about this issue.

 

Could you imagine these guys running a hospital?

 

We accidentally killed 453 patients... but if we don't tell anyone then it means it never happened. And when their family ask where they are, we'll just act like no one by that name was ever admitted.

They outsource their support and have configured an automated response to every inquiry. There are probably two generic responses to every category.

 

They get paid on resolving issues and they have no authority to correct issues. Most of them don't even know how the game works.

 

C* should hire everyday players like me to handle situations like this because I am a daily player and I have experienced everything that others have with this game.

 

If someone files a ticket then I can immediately tell if its legit or not. Granted I would also need access to files to know what the causes are.

Maybe they're testing a lootbox script for support. Write a Ticket and you have a 0,005% chance to get the answer you want. (That was a joke, I'm just making sure)

 

So far their answers/replies have been pretty consistent. This is something new and it made me actually laugh after all this sh*t.

 

Does this mean anything, probably not.

Well, I guess that's that. I know it wasn't modded cash as they took it all the last sweep and I haven't been around script kiddies since the last wipe. I guess if I continue pushing to get my cash back I'll get banned according to this post. Just love how what was taken was exactly what I made during the I/E event week. Whatever, I guess I'll spend what I have left and then give up on online. All my friends have quit now but it was a fun run while it lasted.MIY36Uz.png

My 2nd post was closed 2 days ago. I havent received any of my legitimate 22M back, but a close friend of mine got his 12M back thursday, as i have posted here before.

Ok this ticket above? it was from en-us support. They ignored me completely (like always)

 

but then I tried with my native language support site - after 2h a REAL PERSON answered me (She even had a profile picture! no "tier3" bots with copypasts!)

 

ang guess what? She confirmed that I lost my car and she gave my money back with no problems!

 

 

And when you think about it... thats might be the right way to approach this whole thing.

 

English suport site is probably flooded with real cheaters so every Innocent guy gets ignored as well... They don't check profiles for anything, They probably don't even read our tickets. They just copypasting answers left and right till they can go back home at the end of the day.

 

That guy on reddit also said that he got his refund after writing on a Polish support site.

 

I gonna try and ask for my 44m one more time... will report with results later.

 

edit: aaaand it was closed. oh well...

Can I throw a conspiracy theory in here folks, modded money, at least the stuff I saw way way back on the PS3 and according to the images shown above are gifted to people when a modder spawns in the item that has a money modding value to it, i.e an in game asset that in normal circumstances is used to gift the player a bank balance increase.

 

Why are these assets still in this game? What missions or activities actually give you items such as the lootbag shown above as a reward for payment? I know the old armoured van used to drop the bags above but does ANY mission now use or for that matter even need these assets any more? Why doesn't Rcokstar just remove the item from the game totally. If it's not in the game how is a modder going to make it appear?

 

This again falls back to one of two possibly three reasons

 

1). The first is that these assets are key to some unseen working system and cannot be removed, even though nothing in game seems to actual use the asset any more.

2). Rcokstar have no idea how to remove them (most likely as we have seen a whole bunch of issues that they clearly have no idea how to fix)

3). Rcokstar need a scapegoat to blame when they decide that Shark Card sales need a boost, if their is no physical way for modders to gift money then Rcokstar have no legit reason to be removing cash from your account. (This is the conspiracy)

 

Just a wee thought.

Pretty sure there are plenty of uses for the money bags, they are just a visual representation and can be applied to have different uses. I see them in Creator as they can be used as a capture object. IIRC the bags dropped on people are the same as you pick up after exploding and Armoured Truck in free roam.

 

It's nice that you came up with a Conspiracy Theory unfortunately it doesn't hold much weight, especially when R* can do what they like and do not need to hide behind conspiracies.

2 closed tickets with the exact same copypaste response, not a single cent of my 9 millions refunded. I'm tired of this sh*t, I'm probably gonna jump in public lobbies looking for money droppers, pick up several millions, fill a garage with super cars and sell everything if I get wiped again. Wanna call me a cheater, Rockstar? Okay, I'll give you reason to do it.

So I contacted them about the Lost Slamvan that disappeared from my account clearly states he lost his Lost MC Slamvan, not the Slamvan Custom... At least that's how I see it.
