The worst part is that was a Shark Card I bought that they took the money from. Steam refunded me fully but the problem is how can I ever play this game again if Rockstar can just take money I paid real money for? I don't have time to grind, I don't even need to grind. Buying multiple cards to buy any DLC doesn't cost me anything. Oh well, f*ck rockstar then. They will take grinded money or bought Shark Card money which makes the game totally not to be trusted. I've never seen this kind of thing in any online game where stuff I purchased with real cash was taken from me.

About ~1.5kk , I did some coke sales at the time too (~400k) . There was a time where a random dude gave me about 7kk with hacking, but it was back in 2015. I don't know how R* calculated this "correction"

It's funny to read the replies to anyone complaining about this on the public Rockstar Support forums. There's so many wannabe mods replying to every post saying that if your profile is private, that automatically means you're a modder and other dumb sh*t like that. Beisdes, I'm pretty sure that almost anyone that played the game in 2013 has an insane amount of money listed in their money stats on Social Club because of the DNS modders.

 

I personally got most of the modded cash removed from my bank(around 500 million) but they didn't touch my wallet, surprisingly. I'll just wait for someone to drop money on me tbh, I'm not gonna grind missions for a week to buy some overpriced plane or spend money on shark cards this late into the game. I hope everyone else that got legit money removed manages to get it back though.

The funny thing is I had someone drop money on me and I reported it. It was then adjusted. This was before the summer. They actually took more out than what the modder gave me. Oh well, it was no big deal at the time but what I don't get is why didn't they adjust my RP. Right now as we speak I am 5 points higher than what I should be.

 

So they took my legit money, all of it, but left my RP the same? LOL...there is no consistency. RP adjustments are fake. It's sounds better to say they will fix your RP and Money rather than say we are just going to take your money.

 

Also, my earnings is 77 million more than my spending. When they wiped out my money and my office that is full of cash is empty. A part of me in this game is gone.

People are starting to post negative reviews with this issue on Steam, I really encourage everyone on PC to post something negative even if it didn't happen to you. I see people posting against sales promotions too on Twitter and referencing it back to Rockstar's twitter. Participating in discrediting Rockstar for this money removal issue in any of these places would be a good idea to get their attention if there is any way at all to get it. Submitting tickets is useless.

 

I actually sent them screenshots/purchase history of all my shark card purchases, through Steam, Rockstar Warehouse, Green Man Gaming and one Humble Bundle, then the total price of all my cars and properties I've bought in the game (almost every car/property etc) and if anything I almost bought more Shark Card money from 2015 to date then I spent. It's hard to determine repaints,livery changes etc. I don't play with people I don't know in person offline and none of them hack, one is my mom (they took 200,000 from her account too, just found out tonight when she logged in). I don't farm in games to buy game content and nothing is wrong with people who do, i just use some of my real work money to buy Shark Cards because I have limited time I can play GTA:O. I play specifically for racing and collecting cars as it's the only true things I personally enjoy in the game. As of this money being removed that's affected people in this thread and on gta's reddit page and a few other sites, I really do not trust Rockstar. No game has EVER taken away money or items I bought with real money, EVER. The worst I have seen is they nerf something so you feel like an idiot for buying it but not totally ripping people off.

My ticket was closed, generic response that it wasn't legitimately earned money, i always play in invite only lobby alone so i cant see how i could have accidentally picked up bad money, the last time i was dropped into a public lobby was after a heist a few years back and i logged off right away. The really messed up thing is that they pull this sh*t then put shark cards on sale, they actually think that they can take away my 100% legit money that i grinded for and sell it back to me lol

You should by any means answer to that. If they did indeed check they should be able to give you the details of the alleged money pickup(s), for example which sum was picked up at what date and time. If they can not do that they did not check. Then they only read the short "receipt" of the StatMaster module, like the one we saw posted earlier, and that we already know gives wrong numbers.

You could still look at the gta online store page on steam and the reviews others have written and agree with all the reviews talking about this incident. that would help too!
