It's not really SkylineGTRFreak's fault, I think that when he opened the poll he didn't know if bank account corrections were programmed and if many people were affected at the same time, so he instead asked if it ever happened to someone else in the past. As far as I know this is the first time so many many innocent people are affected at the same time (and actually, while I made many appeals to get modded money removed from my account in the past I never got fined during one of them).

I was explaining the other guy that he shouldn't call other people idiots because he didn't understand how the poll function.

And no matter who's fault is it or not the poll is kind of useless and I've also said that before but that is not what my post is originally about, it's more that console users seem to not be affected even tho people have voted ps4 and Xb1..

I stopped playing because work became really demanding and I moved and this was back in December/January I spent all my money which was also Shark cards, since R* was having a sale on the Warehouse store for the holiday. This Friday I logged into GTA:O (just an invite only session) for the first time in 7 or 8 months. All my stuff was shutdown, so I bought Shark card (8 million on Steam), to turn things back on etc. I bought 1 car too with the shark card money and logged out. I logged back in on Saturday and they taken 4.5 million of the Shark Card money from me as it was the only money I had at all. I sent a ticket, they said some illegitimate thing and closed it. The money they took was from a card I JUST bought. I would be very careful with this game and hopefully all this is a big mistake.

I just know they took 4.5 million from a Shark Card I just purchased, as I had zero balance for the past 7 maybe 8 months and just logged in after that amount of time passed. I've never done anything in the past either. Honestly over the years 95% of the money I owned is from buying Shark Cards, as it's not a huge deal for me and I have limited time to play. I play ESO and they have something called Crowns (similar to Shark cards I guess) and I bought 300 dollars worth this weekend from a sale. I'm the type that will try something a few times in a game and if it feels anything like grind and I'm not having fun (the only reason I play games), then I just buy money with real money if the game allows for it. So Rockstar just took real money from me.

If anyone is still grinding I/E today, can you check your social club stats to see if the exports you sell increases your total earned in addition to the number of exports you have sold. I'm pretty sure that export sales have had no impact on my total earned stat number and I've been stuck at 1 export since December even though I've sold over 400 exports and made ~43.4 million (can see when I log into my CEO computer). I wanted to go in and make a video of this and send it to support, but I'm just going to wait until I talk to a physical human from support before I do anything involving the game.

I saw a news site where they got news on this but it was the most inacurate thing i ever readed, in fact they were even blaming the afected ones saying they got their money illigaly and supported Rockstar, of course they didnt even said theres a lot of people afected, just a few people.

These are my stats from 2015 and now. This time no ingame money was removed from my account but they only cleared the stats. In 2015 it still had $76 mil shared money which was a leftover from my 2013 X360 account. That money was actually removed early 2014 but not from my stats. Now it's gone.

They also adjusted some other money stats. In other words, a fine example of R* logic.

XA-21. I didn't even upgrade it yet and at this point I never will. I definitely don't trust Rockstar anymore, in fact it's totally untrusted if they are taking money from a Shark Card, because that's real money I earned working a real job, not grinding missions in a game. We can only hope this is a glitch on their end and everyone is getting their money back.

1 - There's no telling when they'll do this again, you could be grinding for nothing.

So I contacted a friend who used to grind CEO crates and VIP missions back in the day with us, even before MC businesses were released. He stopped playing GTA a long time ago (about 6 months).

 

When he quit playing, he had saved 29 millions in his account and never spent it. I asked him to log in today, guess what? He was deducted $19.359.149.

 

Add that scenario to the list. The only thing in common from the time when he used to grind with us is the "empty public lobby" but as we stated already, this aint it.

I highly doubt it is related to I/E in any way, since as I said only lost 1.3 millions out of the 15 I had at the time (which were all earned during the 2x).

EDIT: also, some people only had Shark Card money and lost them anyway.

yes ,I grinded I&E yesterday , my stats (earnings) went up , from 236 to 238 mil.

my Ticket is still marked as "open" , but R* checked it 3 hours ago , still no answer though...
