Well I just booted up V, and the f*ckers took just under 8 mill off me which leaves me with just under 15 mill. It's probably the amount I've made since Gunrunning dropped but I've not been counting so it's just a guess. I've still got enough to get going with the Smuggling dlc but I'm f*cked if I can be arsed tbh.

 

Sure, I have received dodgy money in the past but that was taken off me before Gunrunning. I'm not even mad about it for some reason, I just laughed when I got the message on screen as I was expecting it after reading this topic. Will I submit a ticket? Will I f*ck! Will I look for ways to exploit the game to my advantage? You betcha!

I can't believe some people are seriously so stupid to believe that everyone who kept playing after getting fined is obviously guilty. I, for example, was lucky enough to lose little more than a single million, and that did not stop me from continuing my programmed grinding until Smuggler's run drops. And if there was any risk that Rockstar may fine people again before it does (which I highly doubt since R* finings are always programmed), I may still lose legit money, even if the amount they fined was modded.

 

I was expecting some interesting point to be made after the first sentence. Instead you explain what a fool you are. "i am grinding away even though they might just take the legit earnings from that grind later"?. speechless.

My friend is not going to grind 15 mil again because even if he did, his total balance should be 30 mil and not the 15 mil that he HAD in the first place. I am not going to grind 26 mil again, it takes a fair amount of time, effort and dealing with GTA BS missions with stupid AI which I already bothered to do in the past 3 weeks.

 

I am also pretty confident that the rest of us who lost significant amount of money wont have the courage to just "grind it again" because anything above 10 mil takes a LOT of time.

 

No more grinding for me until rockstar gives our money back or at least come up with a reasonable motive for what they've done to us.

I feel much too disrespected after they backed out of their 4th July Newsletter Subscription 200k giveaway and now this. I don't care if I miss out on double profits and the new aircraft now, It feels like Rockstar and Take-Two couldn't care less about their players. I won't even consider returning to Online or V until I get my 2.3 mil back.

This is only happening on PC because the anti-cheat algorithm for R* is only for PC. Consoles don't go through the same anti-cheat checks, largely due to if R* makes a mistake, Sony and MS can bankrupt Take 2 for loss and damage.

As I said before, "bank account modifications" are programmed. Around a year ago I received modded money and I appealed to get them removed, and their response was to wait for the next programmed fining to happen. Does the fact that I doubt that they would program another one in the next 2 days make me a fool? And even if I would stop grinding, what would stop them from removing the rest of my legit money?

I totally agree, and that's why I specified that I only lost a million. If I was left with a million or less, I don't think that I would have the motivation to keep grinding. Still, some people don't get my point.

I ain't gonna invest my time to reissue another ticket to their faulty support... I opened up my ticket in the 'other' section, not the ' cheating/glitching banning 'part... No they moved it over there and those 8.5 million were NOT glitched, dumped on me, cheated... They were earned back after GR dropped (coke sales, bunkersales, double events) and through selling vehicles that I earnt legit... So, they stole my cars, the little cash I got back from them and then they say it was illegitemately earned ingame to top it off...

 

Me whining in here, isn't gonna help me. They ain't giving me my money back, so I guess it's time to suck it up... Thing is. You just can't trust them anymore. You put in effort to make some ingame money and they decide to take it away, cos it's illegitemately earned?. So why continue grinding? It's stupid to persist... My suggestion, if they took your legit money leaving you sub $1M, wait till smuggling drops, then glitch all the cash you need to buy everything in the update.

 

If somebody steals my cash and refuses to make it right, im stealing that sh*t right back.

Thats what I plan to do. Maybe the new Hangar will intoduce a aircraft duplication glitch.

 

I don't think we will be able to sell aircrafts so thats not gonna help... but every dlc brings new glitches so who knows.

It's not really SkylineGTRFreak's fault, I think that when he opened the poll he didn't know if bank account corrections were programmed and if many people were affected at the same time, so he instead asked if it ever happened to someone else in the past. As far as I know this is the first time so many many innocent people are affected at the same time (and actually, while I made many appeals to get modded money removed from my account in the past I never got fined during one of them).

Something important to note, which is why I am posting - I had zero money in GTA since Import/Export (PC) and I have not played since. I stopped playing because work became really demanding and I moved and this was back in December/January I spent all my money which was also Shark cards, since R* was having a sale on the Warehouse store for the holiday. This Friday I logged into GTA:O (just an invite only session) for the first time in 7 or 8 months. All my stuff was shutdown, so I bought Shark card (8 million on Steam), to turn things back on etc. I bought 1 car too with the shark card money and logged out. I logged back in on Saturday and they taken 4.5 million of the Shark Card money from me as it was the only money I had at all. I sent a ticket, they said some illegitimate thing and closed it. The money they took was from a card I JUST bought. I would be very careful with this game and hopefully all this is a big mistake.
