Well, they're doing something with their 'new radar' alright. But I can guarantee that they're not removing ancient money drops because I do not have a single dollar that wasn't earned by myself.

Playing in private sessions and closed public made sure of that.

 

That's where they make mistakes.

 

I do not think it's a mistake,I think everything is planned in advance.

 

Doesn't make sense if only pc player got hit. Solo public is also prevalent on console.

The thing is that I KNOW this cash was 100% legit. How to i know that?

 

- They removed modded cash from my account before. Someone spawned millions on me but R* removed it just before I/E or gunrunning. Can't rly remember right now (at that time EVERYONE lost something. Big banwave). I was actually happy about it.

- Since then I usually play in small or solo lobbies (to avoid PC hackers)

- No one spawned anything on me since that day cause I don't play that much those days and even when I do, every time I see a hacker I report him and then I change session or lag myself off to solo loby

- Never duped a car or anything like that.

 

So it looks like R* basically removed almost everything I earned from empty lobbies (headhunt, fortified, yachts PP) and all my grind from this week 2x$ on I/E

 

So now It looks like I have to either:

 

A) Play with scriptkidies with godmode (risking that they will remove all my cash and/or progress) cause R* sucks at creating anti-cheats

 

B) Play solo and risk that R* will be the one who removes my earned cash and/or progress.

 

Even when its their own fault that I'm ending in a solo loby cause of sh*tty servers that don't even exist...

The gross thing about this, is that there are plenty of hackers/cheaters right now with billions of dollars that they have cheated into the game, and they haven't lost a single dime.

Whereas legit players are losing money they grinded for, or in some cases BOUGHT via shark cards.

 

It is a sense of unfairness and vulnerability that I have right now.

Unfair blatant cheats never get caught or simply make a new acct, hack their lost treasures back and continue on.

Vulnerability as I feel like if I play even in a private session doing low end stuff like contact missions or VIP work that TOO will be taken from me, or MORE.

 

And then the cherry on top, it seems R* has been ignoring all our tickets, mine is unanswered, but I hold little hope. I may have lost only a little amount (600k) but it is the fear I could lose 1 year's worth of grinding, saving and shark card purchases that now stops me from playing this game. And if I were to play, how much fun could I have? Wondering if my gains would be removed?

 

The more R* brings the ban hammer down on cheats and hackers, the more innocent toes and fingers get crushed. The cheaters who are banned shrug it off, buy another modded account or just cheat themselves back to where they were.

 

I've really almost entirely given up on multiplayer gaming at this point, I dont touch most of my 90USD games a week or month after release. I find myself playing F2P games like WoT or WoWS more because hacking is harder there, and to be honest, dumping 800 dollars on a F2P game has proven cheaper and more entertaining than buying AAA MP games and having my fun/enjoyment denied by hackers and griefers alike.

 

I pour perhaps 3$k-$5k every year into gaming (excluding hardware of which I bought a PS4 Pro and a $4,000 PC this year) And I'm really starting to spend my money differently now. I avoid Ubisoft altogether after they cheated me out of a season pass for GRWilands. So fewer companies and devs will be getting my money. I don't have high or unreasonable standards. I have a finite amount of time and money and if developers and publishers only see me as a walking sack of cash to treat like sh*t, then they can kiss hundreds of my dollars every year for the next 40 years GOOD f*ckING BYE!

That would actually not surprise me, since I made tens of millions doing those, while a friend of mine, also high level like me, only lost 2 million and hardly ever does I/E VIP work. She makes money through crates/car exports etc.

 

But that doesn't explain why some people lost over 100 million and are left with almost nothing. Gawd, what a mess.

Oh, I didn't get my facts straight. It wasn't 10+ million I received of modded money, it was 30+ million.

Now the same as with you happened to me; got $30 million injected while being afk in a public lobby. I don't have a another char where I could put it. Haven't deposited the cash in my bank account.

So, the amount of money R* took from me is pretty much accurate. Not complaining, and I'm not opening a ticket, ofc.
At the time Gunrunning was released, I had around 55 million GTA$; 30 million modded, 25 million legit - something like that. I bought every content of the Gunrunning DLC with my legit cash and tried not to touch the illegitimate cash, though I would have spend it with the coming new DLC. So, at least in my case, the wipe is justified.

so I logged in today and saw my Bank accont "corrected" .... I was like : It´s alright , some stupid hackers dropped money on me twice or 3 times since Gunrunning ( didn´t manage to change session fast , so it was some millions , unfortunately) ... but the wiped money is too much IMO , definitely more than what I´ve recieved ....

OK , I did the street car dupe glitch , just once ( because R* didn´t patch it for 8 months or so , and I just wanted to try it ) ,so maybe that s a reason... but still , it was too much I think , plus my stats on SC ( Earned money - Money spent ) shows a bigger sum than what I have now in my bank accont ... OK I still have 55 mil. (so I m more than safe for the next DLC ), but I think I should have like +60 mil . I ll write R* later on ....

All I've done in the last days was un-plugging the ethernet cable to remove the I/E cooldown, but that I doubt that would be the cause (and in that case, they would have removed all of the 15 millions since that's how I got them).

Well my wipe isn't justified.. Although I only lost about 8.5 million, it's basically everything I earnt (or sold from my secondary character (a few cars)) from the time GR dropped. In between that time, I purchased a few GR-vehicles and I dropped to around 52 million. Then I worked my way up through some minor grinding and double events (and a few cars I don't use) to 61.2 million, only to see me robbed of 8.5 million today..

So playing legit gets you this.. A avalanche of hackers for the past 8 months, now a moneywipe for legit money/cars... Great...

I like(d) this game, but I think it's time to re-assess where and when I spend my (gaming) time... This is utter BS and if not corrected, I guess it's time to go elsewhere... When is Benz's game dropping in?

I think yesterday when I jumped on to GTA I was met with my social log on saying incorrect password/email address. But I have it set to remember and auto log on; with never an issue.

So I put my email and password in, same as always and voila, I load in fine.

 

Now I think 1-2 days later I had the 600k removed from my account. Could be NO LINK at all, but it is interesting to note as this has never occurred before.

As players on X1/PS4 are also affected I dont think this is anything either, but it is something that different which occurred for me.

They only took 500k from me so far, and they haven't replied to my ticket. Considering I have about 3,060 hours in online with no glitches, exploits, mods, mod money, dupes, etc R* has done a good job showing they are perfectly willing to steal from players. They have shown they view any of that as theft so why should we view them taking our money differently?

 

Yes I'm willing to consider using those now to replace what R* has taken and will take. I don't care if I get more than they took.

That was really retarded assumption. People there so tired of cheating bs, that praise any action rs take in this direction. So, some sh*thead dropped about 4M on me back in June. I contacted Rockstar, and they said these money will be removed automatically. Money were with me for all that time before today: Rockstar removed 1,22M from my account. I don't actually think it has something to do with that dropped money.
